Payson, Illinois, United States
QUESTIONS THAT CAN'T WAIT FOR AN ANSWER VIA EBAY'S "ASK SELLER A QUESTION" LINK.......PLEASE CALL KEVIN AT (573) 231-6272 . 2006 Ford mustang, this car is powered by a 4.0L V-6 and has a 5-speed manual transmission. The car runs and drives very well and everything works. The car is fun to drive and gets excellent MPG's thanks to the V-6 / 5-speed combo. Has the newer body style and all of the looks of a GT, but without the high price and insurance costs. Shop around, you usually don't see this body style (best so far - my opinion) for this price. If the price isn't to your liking....Make an offer...If it's reasonable and you are a serious buyer, you'll probably own it!!! Look closely at the pictures, the car does need some minor body work, but it in no way effects how the car runs and drives, it's just cosmetic. CAR IS LOCATED IN QUINCY, IL ZIP CODE 62301 IF YOU PICK IT UP IN PERSON........BRING CASH.....I HAVE A CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE IT SHIPPED TO YOU, THAT'S FINE, BUT THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY: 1. CAR HAS TO BE PAID FOR IN FULL AND FUNDS HAVE TO CLEAR MY BANK BEFORE THE TRUCK PICKS IT UP 2. THE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS AND COSTS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY (I WILL MAKE SURE THE CAR IS READY AND AVAILABLE WHEN THE TRUCK ARRIVES) |

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
Next-gen GM SUVs caught wearing new boxy bodies [w/video]
Wed, 15 May 2013We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above).
Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models.
Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."
