Hey there corvette hot rodders here is a wild one,!! This car belongs to my step son and he asked me to put it on ebay so here it is > This is a 1997 corvette that has 99135 miles on it and it has been run a little hard but it is still ready to run some more ! THe car sounds awesome and obviously has some motor mods , a cam , special exhaust, cold air intake etc , it has the short throw shifter, z 06 looking wheels and body side air ducts, it has a custom flame job on the paint that i think looks tough. IT has a shift knob and aftermarket radio, the tires are not so hot on the rear but it goes down the road fine. the car has cold ac . the traction lite is on ? the clutch is touchy possibly a racing item? this corvette is for a high performance enthusist and while it is street legal it is extra loud and sounds like it is ready to blast off to the moon , super quick throttle response. I would not buy this for your teenager. The body looks ok but the rear hatch is not closing all the way? the rear compartment has had some stereo stuff removed and will need some attention.The driver seat is not moving and needs something worked on. THIS IS A RADICAL CORVETTE AND IT IS NOT FOR THE WEAK OR FAINT AT HEART . it is a hot rod. any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 we need to sell it so bid to buy and be prepared to pay . Hagerty kicks back with Ringbrothers for a look at the Recoil

Over the years, Ringbrothers has shown the ability to mix a meticulous eye for style and serious amounts of horsepower with customs like the Pantera-based Adrnln. The company's recent project, a tuned 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle called Recoil, is some of its best work yet and already has Jay Leno's denim-clad stamp of approval. Now, Hagerty is taking a look, while digging into the history of the actual Ring brothers: Mike and Jim. The two guys grew up in a small town where owning a car was practically a necessity, and the brothers were already wrenching before they could even legally drive. Eventually, that passion grew into a business, which led to wonderfully customized performance vehicles like the Recoil. Hagerty gets a fascinating look into Ringbrothers tuning philosophy in its interview. Of course, the real interest lies in this custom Chevelle, and there's a chance to hear the absolutely ferocious sound from the Recoil's supercharged V8 in this clip.

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
