CAR WAS SOLD, BUT I HAD TO DEAL WITH A BUYER THAT WAS PARANOID BEYOND BELIEF AND PERHAPS EVEN NEEDED A MENTAL HOSPITAL. IT WAS EXHAUSTING, BUT I AM OVER IT. I reserve the right to end the listing early for any reason, as it is also being listed on other resources. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly at: 305-302-4617. I can assist with shipping, as I have a contact who owns a transport company. I welcome all inquiries to buyers who: Have the Wife's approval already, actually have the funds, and truly know what they want. The 90 model represents many unique and desirable aspects of the C4 generation - 1st year of the cockpit dash, digital odometer, redesigned seating, and only year of these rims. The wheels alone sell for over $1000 used. 1990 Corvette Convertible - 100% orig., mint, garaged since new - only used during FL Snowbird season - built 6/90 - late production - Rare Red / Red w/ White Top - 27000 miles - 2 adult owners - Was special ordered / built by 1st owner and have plaque from GM reflecting such. Optioned with G92 perf. axle, Dual power seats, Bose CD ( have upgraded Alpine CD, but have Bose and speakers boxed ), and Climate control a/c. NO ACCIDENTS, NO PAINT. I have all of the dealer manuals / literature / car cover, and more. These C4 cars are becoming more rare to find in top condition. Take it to shows & cruise nights; guaranteed it will make an impressive statement. NO ISSUES, AUTOCHECK ATTACHED. Will be extremely hard pressed to find this particular car in such condition. Looks nowhere near a 24 year old Vette. Only modification is a Magnaflow stainless exhaust, which sounds great. The original Red paint is exceptional. The moldings, handles, window glass, convertible top / window, emblems, rubber seals and all other exterior features are in original, superb condition. The wheels are in new condition and the tires have excellent tread. Never driven hard, garaged 100%, and always hand washed / waxed. The exterior is a strong 9.75 / 10. On the inside, the Red interior still looks, feels, and maintains a very close to new look. As you can see in the pics, the leather seats are well preserved w/ no wear or fade and the flooring is damage free. The door panels, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are not worn. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, cruise, antenna, and 6 way power seats work without issue ). The stereo system w/ amp sounds great. The exhaust and undercarriage are dry and rust free. Inside, it is a 9.75+ / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as a fine tuned machine should. The L98 / TPI engine is spic and span ( see pics ) and performs on all levels. Has had all of the pertinent and preventative maintenance done - fuel injectors, serp. belt, tune up, a/c, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals. With the G92 you get a faster gear ratio when you pull off of the line. The brakes have plenty of pad left, and all of the other mechanical functions perform on point. You will receive thumbs up on it every time, wherever you go. 1990 Chevrolet Corvette Report Run Date: 2014-08-24 14:03:32.821 EDT Report Summary

Sunday Drive: A tale of old favorites and upcoming challengers
Sun, Oct 8 2017Sedans and crossovers dominated the attention of our readers last week, led by the completely redesigned 2018 Honda Accord. It's the Japanese automaker's flagship, and people are seriously interested in finding out how good the latest Accord is. So interested, in fact, that no other single story came close to the brand-new Accord in Autoblog reader interest. Moving down the list we find the equally new 2018 Buick Enclave. The three-row crossover has a lot to offer a family, especially one looking for a nice, quiet ride. If you're looking for the exact opposite of nice and quiet, but still want enough room for you and your significant others, the Subaru WRX that we tested last week may be the perfect ride for you. Or, if you just want to drive fast and aren't at all worried about space, there's the Camaro SS. See? We offer something for everybody. From there, we look to the future. Who isn't interested in seeing the first fully electric vehicle from Porsche? And who isn't intrigued to see the Mission E testing alongside a gaggle of Teslas? A brand-new Jeep is always a big deal, especially when it's the revival of a classic nameplate like the Grand Wagoneer. And finally, we have something completely different: the Rezvani Tank. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Honda Accord First Drive | Feels like home again 2018 Buick Enclave First Drive Review | Fortress of quietude 2018 Subaru WRX Drivers' Notes | Turbo traditionalist 2018 Chevy Camaro SS Drivers' Notes | Demonstrative power, middling interior Porsche Mission E caught testing against Teslas Jeep three-row SUV caught on public roads — Grand Wagoneer, perhaps? 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Fri, Apr 24 2015"Corvette" has stood for American muscle, American sports car, and American supercar. In many cases, it still stands for America: liberty on the go, LS-powered freedom. There was also a time when it meant really impressive numbers that didn't equate to really impressive handling, and a not-so-nice cabin. The handling issue really turned the road-legal corner when the C5 Z06 was introduced in 2001, and by the time the super-duper ZR1 ended its run in 2010, Corvette had exorcised practically all of its dynamic demons. But when I took a seat in the 2015 Corvette Z06 on the first day of my week-long loan, I espied a few demons still squatting in the interior. When colleague Seyth Miersma drove the Z06, he wrote, "Listen, I'm not going to be the guy that dogs the Corvette for having a cheap-feeling interior, this generation has put those once-legitimate claims to rest." Well, I am going to be that guy, because I don't think those claims have been put to rest. One day Chevy will give us leather that looks and feels like leather, instead of the astonishingly thin hide that is laid directly on top of the instrument panel structure. This material was set off by white stitching, but there were no seams, just a trail of white stitches. In some places it was hard to tell where the leather ended and the plastic began; or it might all have been the same upholstery, I don't know. Five dollars of foam padding would add five thousand dollars of luxury to the cockpit. One day Corvette will have plastics that don't look so plasticky. I know General Motors can do it. And after years of thinking Corvette seats were too wide and flat, this latest Z06 is almost there. The seatbacks were nice, but the exaggerated side bolstering on the seat bottoms was too narrow and sharp. That's a personal preference, though; other drivers with thinner thighs will think differently. My complaint isn't that the interior isn't luxurious, it's that it's not luxurious enough. If Chevrolet was worried about pricing, it could add some kind of profligate package to the options list. Have some ex-Porsche people design it, call it the Teutonic Splendor Package, slap a massive price on it, and count the money. People will buy it, and no one will ever have to say again, "But the interior..." That said, this test car's cabin had every feature I wanted. The gauge cluster was bright, crisp, and readable in every shade of daylight.
2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 vs. 2019 Ram 1500 vs. 2018 Ford F-150: How they compare
Mon, Jan 15 2018The full-size pickup truck market is seriously hot right now. Both Ram and Chevrolet have introduced completely redesigned trucks, the 2019 Ram 1500 and the 2019 Chevy Silverado, and as the companies slowly roll each one out, more and more information comes to light. We've put together this comparison post to help you keep track of all the features and specifications of each of these new models, along with the updated 2018 Ford F-150. Among the stats we'll take a look at are engines, power, fuel economy, trim levels, weight and more. Weight savings Both the 2019 Ram 1500 and 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 have gone on a diet for the new model year, similar to the one the F-150 went on in 2015. The Silverado is the weight-loss leader, having shed 450 pounds when comparing quad-cab V8 models. The Ram 1500 lost 225 pounds compared to the current truck. Both trucks achieve their weight loss in part due to the use of aluminum parts. On the Silverado, the hood, doors, and tailgate are aluminum, while on the Ram, just the hood and tailgate are aluminum on the body. Compare that to the F-150, which uses aluminum for all exterior body panels for a total weight loss of up to 732 pounds, which makes the aluminum-intensive F-150 the weight-loss leader. View 160 Photos Engines and transmissions There's only a bit of overlap in powertrains on the Ram 1500 and Chevy Silverado. Each has a V8 for the top engine. The Ram's is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 making 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The Silverado will once again use a 6.2-liter V8 as its range topper with the same 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque as the current model. Both of these V8s boast some extra fuel saving technology. The Chevy's 6.2-liter (and some 5.3-liters) comes with the company's latest cylinder deactivation system that can shut off any or nearly all of the eight cylinders. The Ram's V8 boasts an optional 48-volt mild-hybrid system that, in addition to likely helping fuel economy, can provide up to 130 pound-feet of torque right off the line. With the Ram, fuel economy sees an improvement of 2 mpg in the city and combined ratings for 17 and 19 respectively. Highway fuel economy improves by 1 mpg to 23 with two-wheel drive and 22 with four-wheel drive. The Silverado's 6.2-liter V8 only improves city fuel economy by 1 mpg to 16, and actually loses 1 mpg on the highway. The new 5.3-liter engine with the fancy cylinder deactivation does see an improvement over the simpler version.
