1967 Chevrolet Corvette LS6

CHECK OUT OUR OVER 2800 POSTIVE FEEDBACKS!!!!

This classic is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe resto mod LS6 with 6 spd Tremec transmission, rare Lynndale blue exterior with black interior. Vintage air conditioning and heat, PS, power 4 wheel disc brakes, full tinted glass, factory side exhaust, bolt on Corvette wheels, custom professional stereo with multi disc cd player and radial tires. This car rides, drives and handles like a new Corvette.
Walk up to it and it appears alls tock original. But on further inspection you will see this car is anything but stock! For starters, when you open up the hood you will see that it now has a ZO6 LS6 all alum engine that puts out a little over 450 HP. This engine is hooked up to a 6 speed transmission that has the smoothest hyd clutch that you will ever push. All this power is sent to a fresh 3:70 ratio rear with upgraded adjustable strut rods and larger sway bars. The sound of the factory side exhaust is exhilarating and sounds just like an original 427- 1967 Corvette motor. The LS6 Corvette motor fits perfect.
The interior was removed and all new dynamat sound deadening was installed every where for a nice quiet ride. An Abbott computer system was installed to convert all the original gauges over to electric gauges. The interior on this car is all stock and just what the builder wanted. Large after market radiator with dual fans keeps this baby running nice and cool in 100 degree weather, 100 amp chromed alt, polished serpentine front runner system, slp throttle body.
The body on this car is beautiful with all original day one bonding strips and has never been hit. The frame is rust free and as nice as you will ever find. Truly a beautiful body and in this rare Lynndale Blue color it looks incredible in real life. Originally the builder wanted $130,000 for this car and had well over this amount into the car. I enjoy driving this car so much more than my ZO6 and get ten times more attention from young and old alike. Really..what better year than a 1967? Why spend $200,000 building a resto mod when you can buy this car done at close to half that cost.
Please call for a full and honest description and to make an appointment to come view this great classic at my home. You will not be disappointed!! I highly recommend you bring your expert for full inspection. {Please note} True mileage unknown with very low build miles around 3000 Please call 978-939-5053 for full information before bidding.

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

2010 Buick Enclave - Click above for high-res image gallery
The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.

Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
