Frame off restoration on a 1972 Chevrolet Fleet Side Cheyenne C-10. It has a small block 350 with 425 horse power, pos traction rear end with 373 gears and a turbo 350 transmission. We changed the windows to the vent window delete kit, chrome tilt wheel, seats are aftermarket they are leather and the seat has a built in letdown console. We added front and rear sway bars, added an aluminum fuel cell and moved it to the bed of the truck. It has 4 wheel disc brakes and electric cut outs on the exhaust. Torque thrust wheels, 235-55-18 on the front and 285-55-18’s on the rear. From the ground up every piece, nut, bolt, washer, glass, wiring harness, everything is new. This is a project that I have been piddling on for the last 4 years. I took my time and put a lot of heart and soul into this project. Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. Next-gen GMC Sierra spied with diesel power

The next generation of GM trucks is arriving soon, and we're expecting a huge leap forward over the current lineup. The Chevy Silverado and the GMC SIerra sell extremely well, but haven't done much to move the segment forward in a long time. The Ford F-150 has an all-aluminum body and turbocharged V6 power. The Ram 1500 gained a diesel and coil spring suspension. These spy shots show that diesel may be in the cards for GM. Some quick shots and copious use of flash show what is most likely a tank for diesel exhaust fluid and a diesel particulate filter, both necessary equipment for any modern diesel. It's unclear what form factor that engine will come in, though GM has a number of engines to choose from, including the 2.8-liter inline four that's found in the Colorado and Canyon, though that may be a little light duty for the Silverado and Sierra. Other rumors surrounding the trucks suggest a move to an aluminum cab while retaining a steel bed. That seems like a reasonable move for GM, even if the company was attempting to shame Ford for its move to aluminum a few years ago. Look for more news as early as the Detroit Auto Show in January.
