1971 Chevy Cheyenne C-10 Short Bed Custom Listed is a sweet little step side custom built '71 Chevy Cheyenne C10 pick-up truck powered by a 355c.i. SBC with a steel block and and a set of Blueprint aluminum heads, as well as a set of headers leading out to a pair of Flowmaster Super 40 dual exhausts. Resting atop this Cheyenne's power plant you'll find a Holley aluminum intake and an Edelbrock 1174 carburator. This truck is also equipped with a modern 700R4 transmission, allowing you the convenience of overdrive, as well as a 10 bolt Chevy posi-trac rear end. (Below is a list providing additional info, including chrome engine dressings) On the exterior of this truck you'll find a gorgeous two tone paint job accented by a set of pin stripes that just makes this baby pop! Other exterior upgrades include a Phantom Billet grille, aftermarket headlights, euro style side marker lights, chrome bumpers (front & rear), 20" chrome rims, chrome door handles, mirrors, and antenna. The bed flooring has been replaced by beautiful hardwood, protected by a convenient collapsible vinyl bed cover that is very easy to take off and on. In the very back you'll see that the exhaust has been accented with a set of 8" flat chrome tips, as well as a super cool set of chrome mirrored LED taillights. The cab of this truck has been equipped with an exceptionally nice set of late model leather bucket seats with a fold down console. The door panels have been replaced as well as the door handles and window cranks. Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.
