Ok guys here is a nice 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle , car has 90k miles with less then 5 miles since resto...I don't even know where to start but the ONLY reason i am selling this car is because i have a 67 ss396 matching number car waiting to be restored and i don't have a place to keep the 71, plus the money will help fund my other project.....I literally just finished this car and drove it for the first and only time on the 4th of july 2013...Its runs soo nice and is just a beautiful ride !!  Its as fresh as it gets...

Car is a 1971 chevelle malibu , NOT a Super sport , not original motor either.Has power steering , power brakes disc on front /drum rear , Factory AC car but needs the pump and a couple lines , everything else is there...Its a street / show car and was built to enjoy.....I was trying to mix a little of the old with a little of the new to create a cool car....

Motor is a early 70's 454 , that was rebuilt from the crank out...
Keith Black Pistons
Comp cam
comp pushrods
Comp retainers
Mildly ported Gm 781 heads
Fel pro Gaskets
Edelbrock Rpm intake
Holley 750
Chrome hi output alternator
Polished alum water pump
Chrome / billet pulleys
Hedmann headers
Hi torque starter
SFI flex plate
Msd ignition
triple core aluminum radiator
Original style Gm valve covers that were hand painted

Motor runs out great and is powerful enough for the street..I wasn't building a race car , but its no slouch either still in break in mode..Has a very nice cam profile so it sounds amazing..Starts instantly and runs cool no issues , you can drive this motor all day...

Th350 transmission , completely rebuilt and shifts on the dime , perfect...
Aftermarket pan etc...

10 bolt rear with 3:73 posi , pulls this car long nicely...

The body on this car is straight and has all original panels except the hood has been replaced with a goodmark steel cowl hood...We stripped the car to bare metal and the only place of concern on the car was thr ocker on the passenger side, it looked like it had a decent baseball sized dent at some point and a body guy tried to pull it out and made a bunch of puller holes and bondo over it , so we just replaced it... The under carriage on this car is solid as a rock..You can still read the number stampings in the inner wheel house drop offs after we stripped the original under coating off..Same with the wheels houses them selves and the floors...The frame rails are Very nice on this car...Trunk is clean, solid and lined for protection......

We guide coated the car then blocked it down , 3 times before laying on the final primer....The paint is a a dupont chroma base black , we then hand laid the stripes ( yes they are nice and straight ) an shot them with dupont chroma base Cortez silver ... The clear is also a dupont chrome clear and is deep!! we wet sanded and buffed the car , no orange peel , fish eyes or other funny business...The paint is nice and looks amazing , black will tell you everything...

all repop or NOS window trim front & rear , grill , front bumper , Marker light lenses and cages , wheel opening moldings , hood edge moldings etc.....Looks nice and cant have dirty trim on the new paint....
All new weather seals and door gaskets, quarter glass edge , window felts etc....

The interior is a Bench seat column shift ( just the way i wanted it for cruising with my family, wife can snuggle up if she wants )...
All new black interior , new seats covers front and rear , new carpet , new door panels front & rear, new headliner (little loose but might tighten up int he heat ), new over head dome light and base , new window cranks , new door arm rest bases and pads , new sill plates , new Seatbelts too all of them .....Car is beautiful inside and is like new , actually smells like a new car in there...

Suspension has been sorted out and new edlebrock shocks on the rear , New tokico on front ,Lowering springs , new sway bar links , new mounts , new bushings etc....Car is tight....

Really nice 18" boze Billet Forged wheels with nitto extreme tires....These are expensive rims and not some cheap knock off's , they will run you $3k .....

There is soo much more to this car but i think i covered alot of it...This is a nice car and not some rat trap.
All quality fluids have been used , break in additive used..

Check out the video of the car below...The rear shocks that were in the video have been changed along with a couple other small things , this video was shot on july 4th....

if it don't work , copy and paste it in your browser...

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.

2015 Callaway Corvette Z06 gets new supercharger, adds $17K to starting price

Tue, Apr 21 2015

Callaway's proud tradition of modifying Chevrolets is about to add a very significant chapter this weekend, as the company prepares to unveil a modified version of the 2015 Corvette Z06. The engine mods are simple, though we expect them to be very potent. That's because Chevy has replaced the factory supercharger with a new "GenThree" unit that's nearly a third larger than what's bolted on in Bowling Green. A new intercooler is also added, along with a new high-flow intake system. Beyond that, the changes are exclusively of the subtle cosmetic variety. There's new badging inside and out, as well as new engine covers, floormats and an underhood plaque. Naturally, there's documentation to verify the Callaway Z06's authenticity, and the comfort that comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty. Callaway has priced the upgrade package at $16,995, in addition to the price of the stock Z06. While we're still waiting to hear official power figures, that seems like a reasonable asking price for what were wagering will be a major increase in power. The Callaway Z06 will debut this weekend at the National Corvette Museum's C7 Bash in Bowling Green, KY. Expect more details following the debut. Scroll down for the official press release. Related Video: 2015 Callaway Corvette Z06 to Debut at National Corvette Museum The 2015 Callaway Corvette Z06 will debut at the National Corvette Museum C7 Bash in Bowling Green, Kentucky, April 23 through April 25. Here's a sneak peek at the new package. Based on Chevrolet's track-proven Z06, Callaway engineers' no-compromise approach takes this Corvette to an astounding power level. While advertised Callaway horsepower and torque are pending final validation, the Callaway package adds Callaway's new GenThree supercharger system with 32% more displacement than the stock Z06 supercharger, improved manifold design and unique triple-element intercooling system. Callaway engineers recognize that a key contributor to maximizing power is reduction of inlet air temperature. By exposing the supercharger's large plenum area to outside ambient airflow, the design takes advantage of the significant charge air temperature reduction provided by convective cooling. The completely redesigned intercooling system also helps maintain nearly ambient charge air temperature with exceptionally low air restriction.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R named Road & Track Performance Car of the Year

Mon, Nov 9 2015

With a 526-horsepower, 5.2-liter V8 that roars to 8,250 rpm, it's really hard to consider the 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R an underdog in any fight. However, the Shelby held the lowest as-tested price and was only middle of the pack in terms of power in Road & Track's 2016 Performance Car of the Year challenge. The 'Stang's numbers clearly didn't tell the whole story about the potent coupe because Ford's muscle car grabbed the title in this year's test. A model needs to be new or significantly updated to be eligible for the honor, and R&T found an impressive slate of eight candidates this year. The challengers included the Bentley Continental GT3-R, Cadillac ATS-V Coupe, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper ACR, Mercedes-AMG GT S, and Porsche Cayman GT4. The Ferrari 488 GTB was the most expensive of the bunch with an as-tested price of $347,942, which is five times more than the Shelby. Once the group was together, R&T hustled them over curving roads and on the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park. There was a lot to love about the Shelby, even in this impressive crew. "With a flat-plane crank and Sport Cup 2 tires, the GT350R is a Mustang turned up to 11," editor-in-chief Larry Webster said in the announcement of the results. The GT350R joins some great company. Past winners include the Porsche 911 GT3 last year and the Corvette in 2013. For some fantastic photography and the complete appraisal of these performance machines check out R&T's website for the full story. The article appears in the December/January issue, on newsstands November 17, and on RoadandTrack.com. "With a flat-plane crank and Sport Cup 2 tires, the GT350R is a Mustang turned up to 11," said Larry Webster, editor-in-chief of Road & Track. "Not only does the car have soul and harness so much firepower with such ease, but the real achievement here is that it's so approachable. It's a car you can't help but love." The Mustang Shelby GT350R was the winner by a runaway vote.
