1969 Chevelle SS 396 bench seat auto original butternut yellow.
This chevelle has the original matching number 396 engine. It has the 400 automatic transmission, not sure if it came with the car. This car is a Kansas City built car, the last 6 of vin is located near the oil filter.
The interior is mostly original with the original door panels which do have some wear at the bottoms of them.
The bought the car out of SC. I had the paint stripped and put in a couple of rear quarter lower patches and a couple of lower fender patches. The paint is clear coat base coat and is in fair condition. I was going to have it cut and buffed but never did. Does have dings and scratches. Most of the chrome looks good. Floors are original and solid. Trunk looks to be in good condition.
The car starts and drives good. I just drive it around on weekends sometimes.
Factory power steering, power disc brake car.
It is a factory A/C car but it is not hooked up. Needs emergency brake cables.
This car is a good driver but it is not a 10 point show car.

In our exclusive clip, Tom Ford, Antron Brown and William Fichtner run their $7,000 sports cars in a drag race. As expected, the trio chose very different cars for the challenge. Watch the video to see if a Subaru WRX's all-wheel drive can overcome a power deficit to beat a Ford Mustang and a Chevy Corvette. Brown and Fichtner also spend some time relaxing with an old Jeep Wagoneer. Like them, we're really hoping Jeep will bring back the Wagoneer nameplate.
