1966 Chevelle Convertible *Project* NOT SS CAR I am selling my 1966 Chevelle Convertible because I do not have time to do restoration. I purchased this car about 3 years ago and had shipped to Florida from Georgia where it was from. This is a Southern car. I will not sell car for less than I have invested! I am not hurting for money and do not have to sell just hate to see it sitting in corner of my garage... Please no crazy offer or time wasters.....I will not respond! Please only bid if you are 100 percent sure you want to purchase this car. If you have questions ASK BEFORE YOU BID! This is what I know about car: This car is a 136 vin car but has SS hood, badges, grill, 12bolt rear so I am guessing that someone cloned this car to SS. Has a 396 but I am not sure if it is from a Chevelle or not. Will need Full Floor pans as they are rusted pretty bad. Windshield is cracked and will need replaced. Body panels in my opinion are not that bad but will need normal patch, rust, bondo repair stuff..... The body was lifted off frame by previous owner and frame was blasted and painted. It will need a complete restoration but is not a rust bucket and is a realistic project. I have tried to include enough pictures...I have more if needed. If you have any questions feel free to ask. car is in Sarasota, Florida and you will be responsible for pickup, loaded etc. Car is in rolling condition will need a hauler with winch... Good Luck Bidding No crazy offers please

Chevy Silverado gets star-studded treatment at SEMA
Tue, Nov 3 2015Chevrolet has quite a presence ready for the 2015 SEMA Show, including custom takes on the Camaro and Spark. As one of the company's most popular models, the Silverado isn't left out of the fun, either, thanks to a trio of concepts to highlight what's possible for the aftermarket event. Camouflage is supposed to blend in, but the naval-inspired, Razzle Dazzle design on the Silverado Special Ops Concept should make the truck pop under the lights at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Based on a Silverado 1500 Z71, the pickup is conceived as a "rescue vehicle special-operations forces." To get behind enemy lines, it packs extra LED lighting, wheel flares for off-road tires, and a GearOn utility rack in the bed. Plus to help get away, Chevy Performance fits an air intake, exhaust kit, and concept six-piston brakes. The Silverado Realtree Bone Collector Concept (above) also wears camo for SEMA, but it's for enjoying the outdoors rather than getting out of battle. Camouflage company Realtree and The Bone Collector host Michael Waddell help with the design for this custom truck that features 22-inch black wheels, a front push bar, LED light bar, and assist steps all from Chevy Accessories. With leather upholstery, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto inside, the drive to and from the woods should be comfortable, as well. The Silverado 3500HD Kid Rock Concept rounds out this trio and features patriotic styling from the eponymous rock star. "I wanted the design for the truck to be bold, but with features and elements that wouldn't be out of reach for working-class guys," he said about the design, and Kid Rock even visited the factory in Flint, MI, to meet members from UAW Local 598 for some inspiration. The result features a custom chrome grille with a Born Free logo and chrome exhaust stacks. For added excitement, two Gibbs Sports Quadskis are hooked up on the trailer behind it. It is based on the Silverado 1500 Z71, which features a new front-end design and new technologies built into its strong, high-strength steel body structure and fully boxed frame, and draws its design inspiration from naval design aesthetics.
Chevy rolls out Silverado HD High Country
Wed, 09 Apr 2014It's been a good week for heavy-duty truck buyers. First, Ram revealed the Black Package for its HD trucks, then it rolled out its new Power Wagon, and now Chevy's getting in on the action with its Silverado High Country HD. Okay, so it may not pack quite the attitude of Ram's latest 2500-series offerings, but the High Country HD will come as a welcome addition to the Chevy Trucks range to those looking to pull their horse, boat or other trailer without skimping on creature comforts.
Rolled out a little under a year ago, the High Country trim is Chevy's answer to the likes of the GMC Denali, Ford King Ranch and Ram Longhorn. It has until now only been offered on the light duty, 1500-series Silverado, but now extends to the 2500 and 3500-series HD models, as well.
So what sets a High Country pickup apart from lesser Chevy trucks? You'll be able to pick it out based on its chrome horizontal grille, body-color bumpers, 6-inch tubular side steps, 20-inch chrome wheels (18-inch on the 3500 and 17-inch on the dualie) and, of course, plenty of special badging. But it's inside where the High Country makes its mark, with a cabin decked out in saddle brown perforated leather, seats that are both heated and cooled, eight-inch touchscreen with full MyLink suite, Bose audio and park assist functions front and rear to keep those color-keyed bumpers looking fresh. (Though Chevy hasn't yet showed us the interior of the HD model, it'll presumably look mostly the same as the cab in the 1500 High Country in the gallery below.)
2016 Chevy Camaro Convertible coming on June 24
Mon, Jun 22 2015With the new sixth-generation Chevy Camaro now upon us, Chevrolet is gearing up to drop the top on the new 2016 Camaro Convertible, previewed in this latest teaser video. There isn't much to go on from this short clip – the new convertible will feature a fully automated folding roof that will retract at the push of a button. Beyond that, we expect it to carry over the same features as the hardtop version we've already seen. Chevy is due to unveil what it calls "the most innovative Camaro Convertible ever" just a couple of days from now, so watch this space.
