This 1965 Malibu convertible street machine is one of the nicest you will ever see.It starts with a complete body off build .The remove able roll bar is pined for easy in and out .The frame was blasted and powder coated black. The body was bead blasted to bare metal new quarters were installed and new door skins. New floor pans were installed from the firewall to the trunk. The floor was sprayed with roadkill sound insulation .The interior floor was covered with dynamat extreme . The motor is a world products Merlin 540 cu. in BB approx 500 to 600 hp. Comp cam 11-250-3 makes for a very street able machine. The transmission is a TKO tremac 5 speed,Lakewood safety shield ,McLeod hydraulic clutch and pp . 3 1/2 x .125 aluminum drive shaft to a 12 bolt Eaton positraction with 3:73 gears. The interior was done by Rons custom interiors in Springfield mo . The elec seat are Buick ,power window are electlife . The convertible top is O.P.G replacement it is activated with custom built elec actuators. Other items in no particular order . Vintage air heat & air ,vintage air BB engine front runner serpentine system,3 in magnaflow stainless steel exhaust kit,south side machine lift bars Saginaw close ration power steering Sanderson coated headers edelbrock alum, intake ,Holly street avenger 870 carb. Alum high flow water pump,msd dist. And 6al controller.Ididit chrome tilt steering column ,bull it specialies steering wheel, electlife power windows,master power disc brakes ,pro force mini starter, Fatman g force tubular control arms and spindles, koni adj shocks, griffin 1/14 alum radiator and elec. fan.with shroud. Detroit speed elec wipers ,Hundreds of small parts .

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
