I am offering a 1964 chevelle true SS. It features a stout 30 over 350 small block backed by a built th 350, followed up with a built 9" rear (3.7 ratio?) This is a very nice driver quality car, it is not a Barrett Jackson car. Just a fun all around car that gets plenty of looks for a almost 50 year old car. Some other features are an aluminum radiator with an electric pusher fan, with a transmission cooler. The interior is completely stock and shows very well. All exterior trim is present except for wheel well and rocker trim. New windshield, back window, drip rail, and rear bumper. Prostar aluminum wheels, skinnies up front and new rear MT 275 /60's radials. New 2.5 aluminized exhaust from headers back with cross over. Classic wooden steering wheel, no powersteering, no power brakes. Disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Custom driveshaft and rear while maintaining stock four link and coil spring set up. There is evidence the there were partial rear quarter panel and trunk sheetmetal replacement. There a few defects in the paint and the body is not perfect, but it certainly is a looker. Any other questions feel free to ask but serious bidders only. The car is also for sale locally. I feel the reserve I have for the car reflects it's condition (don't ask). I am not interested in trades except for 67-69 Camaro, 66-67 nova, or a 356 replica Porsche. :)

These are the 'Greenest' and 'Meanest' cars in 2015
Fri, Feb 6 2015As has become tradition, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) has come up with a ranking of what it refers to as the "greenest" cars of 2015, and, by way of contrast, a list of the so-called "meanest" cars, so those who value eco-friendliness over all else can choose which vehicles they should or should not consider buying. As you may expect, electric cars make up the majority of the greenest cars on the list, but, perhaps surprisingly to many, the Tesla Model S didn't make the cut. It's worth noting, too, that where the electricity an owner uses to charge their electric vehicle has a big impact on its overall environmental impact. "A car that is charged using electricity generated from natural gas or renewables is going to have significantly less impact on the environment than one charged on a coal-heavy grid," says ACEEE lead vehicle analyst Shruti Vaidyanathan. The ACEEE's list for 2015 looks very different than it did in 2014. It's an interesting collection, though – and we're sure this goes without saying, really – we'd recommend doing a bit more research into each vehicle and how it might fit into your daily life before making any purchase decisions.
