I have owned my Caprice for nearly 10 years. It was a North Carolina DMV car. The car has typical dings, fading, scratches from normal wear. I don't know of any accidents the car has been in. A non smoker vehicle with virtually no mechanical problems. Only known items are, dash mounted trunk release stopped working and AC needs charged (have done this every summer). This is a 9C1 optioned Caprice. It runs, handles and drives great. I have replaced alot of items on the car since I have owned it. New radiator last year with silicone hose kit, GM fuel pump and sending unit, installed cold air intake system, outer tie rod ends and drag link, all 4 rotors and pads, new trunk seal (will still leak some in a hard rain), replaced speedometer cluster last year (showed 154,225 miles) new one shows 117,218, new master power window switch on driver side, installed posi unit, replaced complete ignition switch, replaced headlight switch, tires are like new, has American Thunder exhaust from Summit Racing, changed oil every time the "change oil" light appeared, documentation from Asheville Chevrolet, Asheville NC that the engine and transmission were both replaced at 85K miles by the state of NC, after market am/fm cd unit, cooling fans have been wired to run constantly, antenna holes were plugged when I got the car, new power steering pump and I'm sure I have not mentioned something I have replaced. Car has been well maintained, with no known major mechanical problems. I have a clear West Virginia title in hand. You may call me Dave, at 304 320-5533 if you have any questions. Remember, your bid is your agreement to buy. You are expected to honor that agreement.

Some 2012-13 Chevy Volts may not have enough battery coolant
Mon, Jun 23 2014The 2012 and 2013 model year Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle may have a battery glitch caused by low coolant levels. No recall has been issued and General Motors is taking care of the issue at no cost to drivers. Some of the affected Volts may have lower-than-advisable coolant levels because of some pesky air pockets in the car's cooling circuit. When the coolant levels get too low, the charging system for the battery powering the car's onboard generator (i.e. the Rechargeable Energy Storage System, or the RESS) may be shut down, turning one's Volt into a run-of-the-mill gas-powered car, and a pricey one at that. The Car Connection says GM is advising owners of the '12 and '13 Volts to contact their local Chevy dealer for a free fix. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen for more details. We believe this is a separate issue than the one that brought 8,000 Volts back to the dealers for a battery coolant fix, what GM called a "voluntary customer satisfaction effort," a few years ago. General Motors sold 23,094 Chevy Volts last year after selling 23,461 Volts in 2012, so that fix-it list may get fairly lengthy. Check out a GM-Volt.com user thread related to this issue here. *UPDATE: Chevrolet spokesman Randy Fox confirmed in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen that the company issued a service bulletin to dealers that they may need to top off coolant levels on certain Volts because of the issue, and that the vehicle will "return to normal charging operation" once that's done.
Just the right Camaro can change your life
Thu, Jan 22 2015Not many people can say that their car directly motivated them into a career, but that's exactly the case for Adam Martin and his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro that he calls Lucy. Martin bought the pony car in primer when he was just 16, and it helped foster his profession in restoring classic cars. Beyond just being a very cool ride for a teenager, every change to Lucy was an opportunity to hone a new automotive skill for Martin. Whether figuring out how to paint a car or building the 454-cubic-inch (7.4-liter) big block V8, the Camaro offered a platform for experimentation. This latest episode of Petrolicious gets personal about the bond between man and machine for this 18-year ongoing project. And even if the story doesn't immediately grab you, Lucy has a great voice and can do a mean burnout. MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon
Sat, Jun 20 2015MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
