This Camaro is in excellent shape.  I am selling simply to make more room for other vehicles.  I have had several modifications done to the car but always kept drivability in mind.

Exterior- The paint is in beautiful, awesome condition!  It has retained all its factory Sunset Orange paint except for the front bumper.  It shines like new and has only very small imperfections and scratches.  The area behind the t-tops has some blisters which I have pictured and this is the only real flaw.  The rims are bright chrome and the tires are 1/2 tread or more and have plenty of life left.  Everything works and looks as it should

Interior-  the interior is all factory and in very good shape.  The leather has no cracks and only has a couple scratches or imperfections.  I put a new bolster on the drivers seat and have treated the leather on all the seats, the passenger seat being slightly drier than the rest.  All gauges and interior features work as they should.  The t-tops are in great shape and I don't think they leak but I have had the car in the garage and not in rain storms.

Mechanical-  this is where the car gets fun.  The factory LS motor runs extremely well and I have made some minor changes to improve it.  I had a GM hot cam kit professionally installed at the Chevy dealership.  It came with LS6 valvesprings for the extra lift.  This cam has a fairly good chop to it which is why I took the video so you could here the change in the exhaust and engine sound.  I have also had an slp cold air kit installed.  The catalytic converters are still the factory converters in the factory location but the material has been removed.  I have had the car professionally tuned for power and also to keep all the emissions in operation.  The car has to pass emissions in North Carolina so there are no check engine or warning lights in.  I have also had 3.73 gears professionally installed.  It revs about 2500 rpm at 70mph in the interstate.  The tune has corrected the speedometer and this combination of modifications are awesome together.  This car sounds awesome and is noticeably faster than the other factory LS1 cars I have.  The tune has allowed the car to rev 300 rpm higher and eliminated the rev limiter also.  I'll say it again.  This car runs aggressively and drives "perfect"

Please ask any questions and good luck bidding.  I have priced the car and set the reserve very reasonably.  I sell almost all the cars I list.

GM files to trademark name Badlands

Mon, Feb 23 2015

If you've been hoping for General Motors to come out swinging at the Ford F-150 Raptor, we've had some tantalizing news for you of late. Last month we brought you a report that indicated GM has trademarked the name "Z71 Trail Boss," suggesting a potential hardcore off-roader. Now it seems the General has filed for a potentially even better name. That name, as our friends over at GM Authority have discovered, is "Badlands." The application, filed on February 16, indicates that it's for a truck, but of course it doesn't specify just what form it would take... or for that matter, under which division it would fall. So we could, in theory, be looking at the nameplate for a Raptor rival from Chevy or GMC (like the 2011 Sierra All Terrain HD concept pictured here), or for some other trim level, a concept truck, a special edition... just about anything. Heck, it could be for a Vauxhall, Opel or Holden for all we know at this point. Or GM could choose not to use it on anything at all, but here's hoping it'll emerge as something awesome in US showrooms sometime soon. Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Detroit Auto Show [w/poll]

Wed, Jan 14 2015

Here at Autoblog, we love unexpected debuts at auto shows – and judging by our Detroit Auto Show comments and traffic, you do, too. Surprise reveals have been fewer and farther between in recent years with so many ways for vehicles to be teased or leak out, but this week's show has been a revelation. More to the point, it's been a series of revelations, with automakers from around the globe successfully delivering a brace of concept and production surprises. It's made our jobs a lot more exciting and challenging this week, and even though it's actually more work to react and run-and-gun when the sheet is pulled on a surprise reveal than it is to publish an already-written embargoed story, we've had more fun covering this show for you than any domestic show in memory. We hope you've enjoyed the surprises along with us. To that end, borrowing the words of an unnamed automaker PR flack, we'd like to thank the following automakers for enduring "mountain of antacids" and that "creeping sense of paranoia" necessary to keeping ones' wares totally under wraps until the sheets are pulled off the sheetmetal: Buick Avenir concept Chevrolet Bolt concept Ford GT concept Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept And while we're at it, we'd like to throw in an shout-out to Detroit's substantially revised and revitalized Cobo Center, and in particular, the redone Michelin media center, which is arguably the single best accommodations for writing show stories that we've encountered on the entire international circuit. Well done, everyone. Thank you, and keep the surprises coming. Auto News Detroit Auto Show Buick Chevrolet Ford Hyundai Volvo 2015 Detroit Auto Show
