1974 Camaro Type Lt.... #'s Matching 61,000 Miles on 2040-cars
Waverly, Minnesota, United States
Complete history documented back to original sale date, also most receipts. Car has been in Arizona it's whole life and now is in Minnesota. Original 350 cu motor and original transmission. Interior is very, very nice with just a few minor issues. Car drives like new and needs no mechanical repairs. Like most old cars it needs some minor cosmetic stuff. Paint was done 2 years ago and is factory original color. I think this car is just a very nice DRIVER CONDITION CAR. 99.9% rust free just has minor bubbling under vinyl top, otherwise its unbelievably solid rust free survivor!! Drives down the road like a dream...just drove it from AZ to MN with no issues.
I believe internally the engine has stock components, it was rebuilt due to failure but looks like it was done with oem parts. This info comes from receipts that I have. Please don't bid if you don't intend on buying the car! Feel free to order outside inspections or come see it for yourself. I will assist you however I can to aid in shipping for you but you need to set it up. Bob 612-402-5566 Things not original -Hood -Rear spoiler -Exhaust (manifolds still stock) -Intake/Carb/air cleaner Car has broken seat belt which can prevent it from starting properly. 1974 was the 1st and last year they put seat belt sensors in this car. Belt needs to be fastened in order to start. Seat belt needs replacement. On May-30-14 at 18:12:06 PDT, seller added the following information: PAPERWORK DOES INCLUDE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET! |

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray
Fri, 25 Oct 2013We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
