1973 was a good year for Camaros, and even more for the Z28. Neat options were available and one of the more appealing F-bodies. This Camaro is a true Z-28 which you can see by the VIN#. It is also it's original engine, as per the stamping on the block.

Dark blue paint and white racing stripes make for a good looking car.

The paint and bright work are in very good condition.

The body panels line up well, and the body is straight.

The duck tail spoiler gives a muscle car look to this Camaro and it sure has the power to back that up. Gone is the split front bumper from 72 and back is the full bumper.

An aftermarket stereo and under dash gauges have been installed.

Not having much information on the Camaro, it looks as though the seat covers may be new but the remainder of the interior is original and showing a bit of wear.

The 350 cu in V8 engine is still a formidable performer on the street. This one runs strong and the car shifts well.

The undercarriage is solid with no evidence of rust that we could see.

TAX, TITLE AND LICENSE

We are a licensed Texas dealership. It is required that we collect all tax, title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30.00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of .002277% and a small documentary fee of $75.00 on ALL sales.

EcoCar3 will convert Camaro to bitchin' eco rides

In the 47-year-history of the Chevrolet Camaro, there have been countless college-age kids spending a ton of time getting under the hood and souping 'em up. Now, General Motors is adding a twist to the concept by donating 16 Camaros for the EcoCar challenge that puts university teams together to wring out better fuel-efficiency out of various vehicles. No word on whether there will be donuts on anyone's lawn, as suggested by 80's punks the Dead Milkmen, but the idea's never a bad one. EcoCar3 will feature 16 teams such as Arizona State, Penn State, Ontario's University of Waterloo and, of course, Detroit's Wayne State University. They'll spend the next four years "[reducing] environmental impact, while maintaining the muscle and performance expected from this iconic American car," as the EcoCar organizers say. The goal is to maintain body design and safety standards while boosting efficiency and lowering emissions, but the actual process is far more complicated than that description suggests. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Bosch are among the sponsors of the contest, which is also put on by the US Department of Energy and managed by Argonne National Laboratory. Penn State won Year Two of the three-year EcoCar 2 competition with its E85 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle converted out of a Chevy Malibu. Chevy Volt gets customer satisfaction 'recall' for rear hatch issue UPDATE

Last week, General Motors has issued a "Customer Satisfaction program" for some 2011-2015 model year Chevrolet Volts to fix the manual rear lift gate not working as appropriate. According to Volt owner posts on Facebook, the problem manifests itself by the hatch not opening up all the way (sometimes worse in the cold) with some people bumping their heads. Dealers will replace the lift gate struts as part of the program. Some drivers were notified through the vehicle's OnStar system that there is a problem. GM has not yet said how many Volts are affected. *UPDATE* This program is for all 2011-2015 model year Volts. Chevrolet spokesperson Michelle Malcho told AutoblogGreen that, "This is not a recall, so there won't be any formal information posted on the GM website." The fixes will be free to affected Volt owners. Some 2010-2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles are also affected by the same problem and will also be fixed.
