Up For Auction is a 1969 Chevy Camaro!!!

Please Read Full Description before Bidding.  Bidders who are Buyers only Please.

I have done a lot of work to this Camaro since my ownership with it. The orginal colors are green on green from what I understand.  The car was a factory V8 base automatic.  Changes are as follow.

Exterior color of the car is International blue - medium dark blue I would say. The car came to me with this paint on it- I just brought it back to life.  There are many new parts in the car as I will explain to the best of my knowledge.

New Exterior parts are Bumpers (Front and Rear). Mirror, window door trim, door gaskets. 14 rallys in the front and 15s in the back , great tire tred- firestones

The Interior of the car is in driver condition. Seats are in good shape and work fine.  this car can use a new dash gauge panel.  the dash pad is new in the car, so is the head liner, carpet, and door panels plus interior back panels.  visors, dome light are also new.  the car has sound dettening material also. the car could use a new gauge dash panel, and the rear vew mirror is old - will need replacement.

The truck is in excellent condition and looks totally awesome. All  Inner wheel wells are in great condition -have been replaced in the past.  The rockers on the car are beginning to show the signs of rot, the drip edge on the rear window lower passenger corner has some bubbling about the size of a quarter. same goes for the lower corner of drivers door. which will be noted in the pics.

Engine Compartment.  327 small block casting number 3956618 (translate to late 68 early 1969 camaro engine).  I don't know to my knowledge if its matching numbers but judging on the casting number of the block, its close.  I built this motor myself and I will describe every detail on it. The block has been machined 30 over.  the internals are stock , the pistons are Forged.  The heads are early Turbo fire chevy heads that have been machined to except 202 - larger valves for performance, screw in rocker studs, forged chevy push rods and heavier springs.  The Camshaft in the engine is Mechanical solid lifter cam and offers a high revving attitude for the drivers pleasure.  The top end consisting of a edelbrock intake and a Qjet that has been jetted and  professionaly rebuilt.  The air filter housing is a chevy original.  the Fuel pump and the shroud are new. The car runs great accelerates like it should and has street attitude. drive train has close to 2000k miles on it.

The Exhaust is 100 percent stock new equiptment that looks great under the hood and sound great out the tail pipes.

This camaro has a new radiator support. Front grill and head light bezels. Gas tank and Sender are also new.

Car offers Power steering and Power Drum brakes, and a new battery.  the cars charging system has been upgraded to a internal voltage regulator alternator.  the water pump is also New-including the 160 thermostat.  all Collant hoses are new and all battery cables and the starter are new as well.  The heater core is not hooked up because its old and I have no need for heat. The wipers do not work-wiper motor shorted.

the brakes on the car have been gone through including new wheel cylinders and front flexible lines

Transmission in the car is a Borg Warner Super T-10 close Ratio that excepts the 400 yoke ( heavy duty).  Car has a hurst shifter with new bushings and clips.  The clutch and fly wheel are also new.

The Rear consists of a 12 Bolt posi with multi leaf suspension.  I think is a 3.23 posi . I don't know if its stock to the car.

The doors , fenders, quarters, truck and hood (Z28 cowl induction gm steel hood ) all look in decent shape on the car. and is dependable, turn key.

This car is not a SS just just offers the logos. The steering wheel and columne or the original green that came with the car since day one. the voltage gauge is not hooked up and the dash lighting is out-possible fuse or ground.

Good luck and happy bidding on this sweet ride. I will also mention that it offers a low reserve.

This Camaro is being sold AS IS NO WARRANTY

Chevrolet Silverado reportedly getting the GMC Sierra's MultiPro tailgate

Mon, Aug 17 2020

GMC reinvented the pickup tailgate when it added a six-way option named MultiPro to the current-generation Sierra it introduced in 2019. It kept this clever feature to itself as a way to differentiate the Sierra from the Chevrolet Silverado, but a recent report claims it will begin sharing it in the not-too-distant future. Enthusiast website GM Authority learned from anonymous sources familiar with Chevrolet's product plans that the Silverado will soon receive its own version of the MultiPro tailgate. It will be called either MultiFlex or Multi-Flex, a name Chevrolet has already trademarked, and it was initially scheduled to make its debut for the 2021 model year. Its arrival might be delayed until the 2022 model year due to the coronavirus pandemic, however. Chevrolet's Silverado and GMC's Sierra are nearly identical under the sheet metal, so adding the latter's six-way tailgate to the former will be a relatively straightforward and cost-effective process. Interestingly, GM Authority wrote engineers could add a seventh function to the tailgate, though it didn't reveal what they have in store. It's also not sure whether both trucks will get the new feature, or if it will exclusively be offered on the Chevrolet. 2022 will bring major updates to the Silverado and the Sierra, potentially including — as we've previously reported — an independent rear suspension. Interior upgrades will allegedly be part of the mid-cycle changes, too, but we still don't know if the Silverado will receive the tough carbon fiber cargo box available in the Sierra. In the meantime, motorists in the market for a Sierra will temporarily have fewer options to choose from. GMC has asked its dealers to stop taking orders for the regular- and double-cab variants of the truck, according to a separate report from GM Authority. Putting the slower-selling regular- and double-cab trucks on hiatus will allow dealers to build up their inventory of crew-cabs, which sell far better and are in relatively short supply. These restrictions will remain in effect until the 2021 model year, which starts on September 14 for double- and crew-cab models and on September 21 for regular-cab trucks. All three body styles will be available in 2021. Related Video:

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

Coronavirus shakes up America's truck market: GM outselling Ford and Ram

Thu, Apr 2 2020

FCA, Ford and General Motors joined the rest of the U.S. auto industry in taking heavy volume hits due to coronavirus-related shortages of both cars and customers. The saying goes that a rising tide lifts all boats; it stands to reason, then, that a falling one would have the opposite effect.  However, as we learned Thursday, the automotive market can behave in unpredictable ways. While the F-Series remained the best-selling nameplate in Q1, GM's full-size trucks are now outselling Ford's again for the first time in years, and with this upward thrust from the General, FCA's Ram was unceremoniously booted out of a hard-earned second place.  While late-March sales declines hit just about every major automaker in one way or another, the model-by-model results weren't nearly so uniform. And because the market tends to be a zero-sum game, for every winner, there generally has to be a loser.  In this case, that winner was GM, and its rise had to come at the expense of another automaker, in this case, Ford. F-Series sales dropped 13.1 percent in the first quarter of 2020, while sales of GM's full-sized Silverado and Sierra surged nearly 28% in the same period. FCA's Ram lineup managed a steady-as-she-goes 7% increase. All-in, GM finished the quarter with 197,743 full-size trucks sold to Ford's 186,562. Here's the full breakdown: Ford F-Series: 186,562  Chevrolet Silverado*: 144,734 Ram P/U: 128,805 GMC Sierra: 53,009 *includes 1,036 Medium Duty sales Things are a but murkier in the midsize segment, where the Chevy Colorado slipped 36% to just 21,430 units sold — just a few hundred better than the slow-selling Ford Ranger's Q1 numbers. The GMC Canyon experienced an almost identical slide, finishing the quarter with just 4,483 units sold. For perspective, Jeep sold more than 15,000 Gladiators and Toyota's midsize Tacoma slipped less than 8%, finishing the quarter with nearly 54,000 sales.  We suspect this discrepancy in full- and mid-size truck sales comes from shifting incentives. Ford, GM and FCA would like to keep selling bigger trucks because there's far more profit margin built into their list prices. Even with tens of thousands of dollars in manufacturer money on the hood, big trucks still make money.  Since these automakers report quarterly, we won't get another good look at these numbers until July, but if you thought that 2019 represented the new normal for U.S. auto sales, well, think again.
