Up for sale is a stunning 1967 Camaro RS/SS 396 big block 4 speed with everything new. The factory color of this car was white and that's what I went back
with and added hugger orange stripes. The 30 Year anniversary Camaro by Chevrolet was a white and hugger orange car so I stayed with that concept. The
car has hounds tooth interior as well. This car was built in LA in 1967 and it ended up here in Georgia. All the sheet metal on the car is in excellent condition.
The car runs and drives great. It has a six row aluminum radiator with electric fan and in this Georgia heat the engine temp runs around 190 degrees. It has a
smooth shifting Muncie 4 speed trans with new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. The engine is in excellent shape as well. All window glass is in
great shape and roll up and down as they should. This car can set for 3 weeks and it cranks right up every time so it has no electrical issues. Great investment
that will only go up in value. I spared nothing on this car during the course of the restoration. Just give me a call or email with any questions you may have.
You will not be disappointed with this car it pops at you going down the road with the white and orange paint scheme. Good luck and the reserve is low enough
that you could resale and make money on it. Thanks Marty 404-502-2156

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.

Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
