Upon rebuilding the engine I found that the block had a crack. I am a Diesel mechanic by trade. We had been in the market for a newer truck at the time and decided not to buy a new block. Purchased a newer truck. We had within the past couple years Rebuilt the transmission, transfer case has been gone thru by trany shop, six new tires, new a/c compressor, new pmd, injection pump and injectors, ECU with 50 more HP, new headlights, new nerf bars still in packaging, new crank, rebuilt turbo, new bearings and races in the rear end and radiator two years old and I have a new oil pump I purchased getting ready for rebuild that i cant return with out receipt..... just to name a few. THE HEADS ARE FINE and in interior, dash, doors good condition. Truck is a extended cab, Silverado package. Power everything works perfectly. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
