This truck was a 2 part build. August 2012- The truck was originally built with just under 15K miles on it. The lift, tires, exterior paint, bed liner, gooseneck, rear receiver, and trailer wiring were done then. Then at just over 18K miles (February 2013) we did the 6.5, 4L80E, gauges, a/c, lizard skin, interior paint, engine compartment paint, floor mat, insulation, new seat cover, new foam, new sun visors, and color matched all of the interior.-I bought the truck back from the original customer is August 2013.I do have the original engine still. While it is not included in the sale price of the truck, it is for sale. It has had head studs and .010 thicker head gaskets installed as we were planning a turbo build for the same customer this truck was built for, but we have gone another route. -6.5L Turbo Diesel from a 1992 Chevrolet - Before being put in the truck it had a rebuilt injection pump (with new head and rotor), new glow plugs, new head gaskets, new rear main seal, new front seal, new water pump, new harmonic balancer, re sealed oil pan, re sealed valve covers, new thermostat and new oil fill cap installed.., starts easy, runs great, no leaks, -New Gates belt and hoses - The glow plugs are AC Delco 60G's and are run off the civilian style glow plug relay - Polyurethane engine mounts-Custom Diamond Eye 4 inch exhaust.-It is 3 inch from the turbo to just behind the transfer case. then is 4 inch the rest of the way out -4l80E 4 speed automatic with over drive. From the same truck as the engine. Rebuilt with new torque converter before install. Operates flawlessly. No leaks- There is also an additional heavy duty aftermarket cooler.-The transmission is run off of the factory 1992 TCM. The diagnostic port is located inside the can underneath the glovebox. (See pics)
-NP208 2 speed (high/low) chain driven transfer case. Shifts through all ranges fine. no leaks, output shaft seals and fluid new at time of build-The original adapter was machined to properly for the 4L80E housing
-Dana 60 front axle:-4.56 Gears, Trac Lok limited slip differential -Wheel bearings checked and repacked- Axle u-joints and driveshaft u-joints nice and tight-New front brake pads at time of build-Warn Style style 3/4 turn lock outs-New Fluid at time of build

-The truck has LMC's aftermarket heavy duty harness so it pulls the headlights power right from the battery.. This helps eliminate the common melted fuse block and makes sure your lights get the full voltage all the time.-Wagner BL Headlights. Much brighter and whiter light.-Aftermarket 55w off road lights (flood style)-all other bulbs were replaced with new stock bulbs. -LED license plate lights-The front side maker lenses and rear tail light lenses were replaced with new aftermarket ones-All Blackout lights work. All four bumper lights and the drive lightAll factory interior lighting works as it should, as do the lights on the aftermarket gauges (dim along with the instrument lights). The batteries were new in August 2012. The are heavy duty group 31's. Instrumentation/Switches:The Gen 1 dummy light still lights when the ignition is turned on and goes off when the truck is running and alternator charging. The 4wd indicator light works as it should. The Wait to start light still functions properly. It was wired into the civilian style relay, so it is timed correctly. The Gen 2 dummy light, coolant temp, and oil pressure dummy lights have been disabled. I did leave the wiring for the oil and coolant switches if someone wanted to ad those down the road. The speedometer is only a few miles per hour off.The truck also has a mechanical boost, pyrometer (EGT), and voltmeter. They are Phantom series by Autometer. The oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges are by Autogage .All factory switches work properly. service lights, wiper, and blackout lights. All glass is in good shape. The front windshield has been replaced with one that has the shading up top and built in antenna for the radio. it also has a new seal and lock. The vent windows have had new seals installed. The windows have been tinted as well. Bought new August 2012 when the truck was built) unit that was re-colored the factory Bronze metallicNew floor mat and insulation.Paint/Coatings Interior and Exterior:The truck has been repainted inside, outside, and in the engine compartment. The exterior was sanded and primed using a nice Urethane primer. Then sanded again before painting. The exterior and interior were both painted with GCI's Current Issue Lusterless Olive DrabThe bumpers and grille were then blacked out.Last for the exterior was the stenciling which includes the bumper star, tire pressure and fuel type. Prior to painting the interior, it was sanded and prepped for the Lizard Skin, bed liner, and paint.. 2 coats paint inside and 3 outside. The engine bay was Lizard Skinned inside of the fenders, fender wells, core support, firewall and underside of hood. It does help with noise reduction and heat control. It was then painted with GCI's Flat BlackThe interior was bed lined along the floor front to back, up to the kick panels and halfway up the back of the cab. Same bed liner as used in the bed.The bed has a nice spray in bed liner by SEM as well as a nice thick rubber mat.The frame and undercarriage were in excellent shape and to preserve them they were coated with a petroleum based undercoating by Rusfre front to back top to bottom. The front and rear inner fenders/wheel wells were just recoated. THE EXTRAS: Lift. a/c etc The truck has a 4 inch from 3 inch rear suspension lift by Tuff Country. The lift includes their 4 inch HD lift springs, 3 rear blocks, drop pitman arm, and 4 new Hydro Shocks. The sway bar had new polyurethane bushings installed as well.-Rear blocks were used to retain the factory GVW since it has the factory overloads The AIR CONDITIONING is a Gen IV set up by Vintage Air. As has become tradition, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) has come up with a ranking of what it refers to as the "greenest" cars of 2015, and, by way of contrast, a list of the so-called "meanest" cars, so those who value eco-friendliness over all else can choose which vehicles they should or should not consider buying. As you may expect, electric cars make up the majority of the greenest cars on the list, but, perhaps surprisingly to many, the Tesla Model S didn't make the cut. It's worth noting, too, that where the electricity an owner uses to charge their electric vehicle has a big impact on its overall environmental impact. "A car that is charged using electricity generated from natural gas or renewables is going to have significantly less impact on the environment than one charged on a coal-heavy grid," says ACEEE lead vehicle analyst Shruti Vaidyanathan. The ACEEE's list for 2015 looks very different than it did in 2014. It's an interesting collection, though – and we're sure this goes without saying, really – we'd recommend doing a bit more research into each vehicle and how it might fit into your daily life before making any purchase decisions. It's been generally accepted that the next generation of full-size GM trucks will use some sort of strong, lightweight material for the beds while retaining steel for the cab. While aluminum seems like the most obvious choice, according to Automotive News, the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra will incorporate both aluminum and carbon fiber in their beds. The publication cites sources from within GM, though it seems the introduction of this comparatively exotic material mix is still a few years off. While carbon fiber is both stronger and lighter than steel and aluminum, it takes significantly more time and money to produce, essentially relegating the material to small-volume cars. The main benefit for trucks is the resulting reduction in weight to improve fuel economy without sacrificing the tough, rugged capabilities truck buyers expect. The Ford F-150 made the switch to aluminum for the 2015 model year and it's proved highly successful. It seemed like it was only a matter of time before the competition followed suit. Automotive News says that the next-gen trucks will launch with aluminum beds and that it will take a couple of years before we'll see any carbon fiber incorporated into the design. Even then, only look for the composite material on higher-trim models, with a trickle down to lower-spec trucks possible further in the future. In 2011, GM announced it was working with Japan-based Teijin Limited on a carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic. There's a good chance that material's introduction will be on trucks.
