1971 Chevrolet C 30 cab and chassis. Originally a 16 foot flat-bed with a heavy duty frame to match the longer Chassis. Changed over to a wrecker body at one point but I have a good frame section from another old truck that would work for restoration purposes. The cab has lots of rust frame is sound as is the drive train. I have a 6 of the dual wheels. they are 19.5 X 6. The truck is a 1971 so you know it's going to have the original disc brake setup. I also have a clone of this truck available for spare parts. That truck is NOT included in this auction. I think you could still get an Omaha-Standard bed for this truck and return it to its former glory. This truck would make a great addition ( once restored) to any old truck collection. Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!

Mon, Feb 2 2015Chevrolet took an early lead for the 2015 Super Bowl advertising crown with its spot for the all-new, 4G LTE-capable Colorado pickup in a spot that simulated a problem with your TV. The stark, simple ad then states that if you're lucky enough to have an Internet-capable vehicle, like the new Colorado, you'd at least be able to stream the game. When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
