I am relisting this truck because the winner of the previous auction never paid or contacted me, so here we go again. That being said DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT FUNDS,DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE NO FEEDBACK. This truck is now for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early.

There are not many 20 year old chevy diesels left on the road that are in this good of shape. I would not hesitate for one moment to jump in this truck and drive cross country. So if you’re a fan of this body style combined with a 599 6.5 block, then you should probably consider this one. The 599 block is according to many the most desirable 6.5 block and was only manufactured in 92-93.  Has the mechanical injection system, so no problematic electronic fuel problems.

My wife just inherited this truck from her elderly father but has no need for it. Her father owned it for the past decade. The 2 previous owners were also elderly, and lived here locally in central California. That being said this truck has never seen any snow or salt, see pics of the bottom of doors and rocker panels. This truck has been used but has been taken very good care of as is the case with most elderly owned autos. It only has 119,000 miles on it. When my father in law bought the truck it only had about 90,000 miles.

It starts right up even on colder mornings, new injectors, and glow plugs at 110k. The interior is very nice. The seats had covers on them for the past 20 years so they look brand new. The carpet still has nice texture and is not stained, matted or soiled. The dash is in good shape no UV damage. Power windows and locks work. Ac blows cold, heater blows hot. The headliner has a couple of small tears, not real noticiable.  Has after market radio with cd, radio turns on but the speakers don’t always work.

Some extras include, nice custom wheels, KN air filter, Electric towing brake installed.

Tires have only about 15k on them lots of tread, the very same day my father in law bought them some moron cut him off on the highway and he had to lock up the brakes  . This caused a slight flat spot on the tires resulting in some road noise when driving. He has been rotating them front to back every few thousand miles and the road noise is subsiding.

Paint on the exterior is original shines very nicely and has no clear coat damage. There are the normal rock chips light dings and scratches that are not very noticeable until very close to the truck, some of which could be polished out with compound. The hood has some long superficial scratches caused by parking under a low hanging tree limb which scratched, these scratches cannot be polished out with compound but still are not noticeable until close. The rear bumper is tweeked a little due to backing into light pole in a parking lot (see pic). The passenger rear quarter panel at the bottom has a decent dent, but because of its location at the very bottom almost underneath is not very noticeable ( see pic). The grill chrome has started to bubble in a few spots, and has flaked in one spot, new chrome grills are $100 here on ebay. The chrome wheel lips have the usual little dents on them. Truck bed has normal scratching inside commensurate with age and use.

I have done my best to describe this truck to the best of my ability. I am an honest ebayer ( see my feedback). Please look at at all the pics carefully please ask as many questions as needed. Pre bid inspections are welcome and encouraged.(805) 952-5591. There is no warranty expressed or implied for this truck SOLD AS IS WHERE IS.A $250.00 deposit via paypal is required by winning bidder within 24 hours of auction end.

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vs Big Three-Row Crossovers | Spec comparison

Fri, Jan 8 2021

The three-row 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is here, entering an ever-growing segment of big crossovers that Jeep has ignored since the Commander of the late 2000s. Of course, the Dodge Durango has basically been a three-row version of the current Grand Cherokee with Dodge styling and a different interior, so it's not like The Corporate Entity Formerly Known as Chrysler has been without a contender in the segment. Jeep is a stronger brand than Dodge, however, and the three-row midsize segment is stronger than those with two rows (there's a vast sales difference between the Chevrolet Traverse and Blazer, as well as the Honda Pilot and Passport). In other words, the Grand Cherokee L could be a very big deal. It is also, quite literally, a very big deal. As you're about to see, it is now the largest three-row crossover, besting the length, wheelbase and height of even the gargantuan Traverse. There's more to the story than that, however, so we put together the below comparison chart to show you how the new Grand Cherokee L lines up on paper versus the biggest three-row crossovers. That includes the 2021 Ford Explorer, 2021 Kia Telluride, 2021 Hyundai Palisade and 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. This group also represents some of the strongest entries in the segment as well as those we feel are most likely to be considered alongside the big Jeep. To that end, we also included the 2021 Lincoln Aviator in the chart since its base price is actually less than what we anticipate the luxurious, range-topping Grand Cherokee L Overland and Summit trim levels to start.  Engines and drivetrains Note the differences in curb weight here. The Grand Cherokee L has the highest base curb weight of the group apart from the high-lux Aviator, yet its 3.6-liter V6 has the least amount of power and torque. Therefore, it'll be surprising if it's not the slowest in the group. There's of course the Hemi V8 available on the top Overland and Summit trim levels, but again, a hefty curb weight works against it. At 5,330 pounds, the lightest V8-powered JGCL weighs 600 pounds more than V6-power Explorer Platinum and ST models. On the other hand, nothing can touch the Hemi Jeep's towing capacity, and only the 400-hp Aviator betters the Jeep's base V6. Its 6,200-pound towing capacity greatly outdoes the 5,000-pound limits of not only the Telluride, Palisade and Traverse, but most others in the segment as well.

Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads

Sun, May 31 2015

Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. Best Convertibles for 2022

Thu, Jun 30 2022

The past decade has not been kind to the drop-top enthusiast. No matter which dealer you walk into, convertible models have been biting the dust left and right. Nissan Z? Audi TT? Buick Cascada? Volkswagen Eos? All gone. Remember the humble Chrysler Sebring/200? Well, you do now. Fortunately, though, the news isn't all bad. There are still plenty of options out there for those who absolutely must have a convertible. Whether you need something to haul behind your retirement cruiser, a performance car that can go toe-to-toe with the best in the world or just something that allows you to sling the roof back after a long day of on-location business meetings before catching the flight back to your everyday hustle and bustle, there's at least one cabriolet out there to suit your needs. Here are our picks and starting prices for the top convertibles in several categories for 2022.  For the frugal open-top lover: 2022 Mini Convertible ($34,650) Let's face it; gas ain't cheap. But open-top motoring doesn't need to be a wallet killer. The Mini is cheap (at least by 2022 standards) and an absolute joy to drive, so there's really no downside here ... except for the roof. Get it?    For the hardtop lover: 2022 Mazda MX-5 RF ($37,260) / 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible ($69,695) The number of hardtop convertibles has seriously dwindled due to weight concerns and the fact that fabric roofs have gotten so quiet, but there are still some options for those who prefer a more coupe-like look with the roof up. Our picks here are the delightfully Targa-like MX-5 Miata RF and literally any Corvette Stingray — even the hardtop has a removable roof!    For long road trips: 2022 Ford Mustang Convertible ($34,100) The first image that comes to mind for many who are told to visualize an American convertible is the classic Ford Mustang. It's not the only drop-top pony car out there, but thanks to the Camaro's tiny trunk, it's much harder to see the USA in a Chevrolet when a drop-top enters the equation. The Mustang has much more cargo space and a much larger opening, which is likely the difference between keeping your bags under lock and key or leaving them exposed in the back seat.    For towing behind an RV: 2022 Jeep Wrangler ($31,590) While many small runabouts make sense for towing behind a motor home (or nestled up inside a fancier one), the Wrangler has a serious advantage when it comes to RVing: it can easily be flat-towed.
