1990 chevy 2500 extended cab long bed. Completely custom with tons of extras. It is a real eye catcher. This thing will peal out those tires no problem.  Whole drive train is pretty new with low miles. For drive train it has a built up 454 big block with A LOT OF POWER. Auto. trans. 14 bolt rear end with custom reinforcement. dana front differential also with custom reinforcement. these differentials are bullet proof. 12" lift with tons of work done to the steering. it handles amazing for a truck this tall. 20" welds wheels with a nitto mud grappler tire. Amazing sound system with two i believe 10" diamond subwoofers. It sounds great with a cd and aux cord. the AC works great. It has an escalade front clip which looks a lot better than the stock boxy front. I bought it with all the work already done. So i do not know all the specifics. Issues with the truck includes the paint on the roof (pic included), there are a few small dings on the driver side from kids egging it (it was tough to get a pic of that), It can not currently switch into 4 wheel drive (after lifting it they tried using the stock 4 wheel drive shifter. all you need to do is buy an aftermarket shifter. i priced them out around $400), the bushings in the doors are worn down so they do not close smoothly (I have the new bushings they just need to be replaced), and currently it is not starting due to a recent fuel delivery problem (while i was driving it, it just stopped running. The starter would crank the motor over but it would not start. I found out it was not getting fuel by checking the fuel line just before the fuel filter so i know its not a clog. i changed the fuel pump relay and eventually the fuel pump/sending unit. it is still not getting fuel for some reason.) But when it is running it is a monster. I always drove it in two wheel drive and still had no issues off roading with it. For any questions or concerns please call Mike at (702)235-7590.

Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506

Thu, 02 May 2013

With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Detroit Auto Show [w/poll]

Wed, Jan 14 2015

Here at Autoblog, we love unexpected debuts at auto shows – and judging by our Detroit Auto Show comments and traffic, you do, too. Surprise reveals have been fewer and farther between in recent years with so many ways for vehicles to be teased or leak out, but this week's show has been a revelation. More to the point, it's been a series of revelations, with automakers from around the globe successfully delivering a brace of concept and production surprises. It's made our jobs a lot more exciting and challenging this week, and even though it's actually more work to react and run-and-gun when the sheet is pulled on a surprise reveal than it is to publish an already-written embargoed story, we've had more fun covering this show for you than any domestic show in memory. We hope you've enjoyed the surprises along with us. To that end, borrowing the words of an unnamed automaker PR flack, we'd like to thank the following automakers for enduring "mountain of antacids" and that "creeping sense of paranoia" necessary to keeping ones' wares totally under wraps until the sheets are pulled off the sheetmetal: Buick Avenir concept Chevrolet Bolt concept Ford GT concept Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept And while we're at it, we'd like to throw in an shout-out to Detroit's substantially revised and revitalized Cobo Center, and in particular, the redone Michelin media center, which is arguably the single best accommodations for writing show stories that we've encountered on the entire international circuit. Well done, everyone. Thank you, and keep the surprises coming. Auto News Detroit Auto Show Buick Chevrolet Ford Hyundai Volvo 2015 Detroit Auto Show
