This vehicle is part of a 6 car collection I am selling for an Elderly friends Estate,because the previous owner has passed away I only have limited knowledge and history of this truck.I will try my best to provide any information.The owner purchased this truck new in 1968 and over the years spent a lot of time and money customizing it to his liking,Following in his father's business Bob ran a Automotive upholstery business and he specialized mainly in Street Rods,Customs Etc..He built quite a few of his own cars including Roadsters,32 Ford Coupe Street Rods,lots of Chopped 50s Fords.This pickup was one of his favorite cruisers,he also belonged to a couple of local car clubs in the Mt.Clemens and Richmond area,Bob was the epitome of a Car Guy. This truck has a Corvette motor and rear axle with the independent shafts,disc.brakes,,all converted in a very professional manner and although I can't say for certain,all parts look like new parts or at least extremely clean and in excellent condition.The undercarriage is very clean,no rust or wear,nice set of wide aluminum wheel with Goodrich tires.The underhood area shows very nice,lots of chrome and powdercoated parts,headers look new.The interior was all redone in Red & Black tuck and roll style Leather,extra new parts to be included with vehicle are a New woodgrain Dash trim panel and a new radiator shroud.I intend to start the truck and back it outside for more pictures and will add to listing ASAP,truck has not been started in 3 years so hopefully all goes well.This vehicle is in nice local car show condition,real head turner.Other vehicles I will be listing soon are an Original and complete 34 Ford 5 window Coupe with a Flat head V8,a 81 Cadillac Eldorado,a 76 Lincoln Mark IV,a 66 Pontiac Catalina Convertible,possibly others.Please ask any Questions,if you are going to be in town for the Famous Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend you are welcome to set up an appt. to inspect this Truck,Ebay messages or call Gary @ 586-212-8628 9-9 est NO TEXTING

The Jitterbugs somersaulted at the 1986 Chicago Auto Show for the Chevy Nova
Tue, Dec 30 2014Judging by the vintage videos that the Chicago Auto Show has been uploading, if you wanted to check out the latest vehicles and watch some dancers in the same place in the late '80s and early '90s, then the Windy City event was definitely the place to be. We've already seen the Footlockers pitching the Cavalier in '88 and a troupe of women singing about the Geo brand in '91. Apparently, the trend went back even further, though. Just take a look at this group called the Jitterbugs selling some badge-engineered products from Chevrolet at the 1986 show. Flanked by the Chevy Nova and Spectrum, these guys managed to do a few pretty impressive jumps and somersaults but mixed them with some rather uninspired spins, as well. Also, wait for 1:24 into the clip to see the least enthusiastic backup dancers that the world has ever known. The Jitterbugs are even further proof that Chevy's habit of mixing dancing and its vehicles goes back even further than the Volt.
