New items - rebuilt 350 motor that has about 1000 miles on it. There is also a new radiator, edelbrock 600 cfm carb with chrome air cleaner, plugs and wires, fuel pump, belts, hoses, Monroe shocks, steering damper, distributor cap and rotor, water pump and thermostat. The paint was recently done, but is by no means a high dollar paint job. The paint used was good flat black enamel, but was better than the camo paint that was on it. The tires are about 85-90% and are in good condition. The wheels are american racing and are also in good shape.
The truck is not perfect by any means. The AC does not work, there is no radio, the right fuel tank does not work, the switch is new in the cab, but the switching mechanism is not working, there is also a little oil leak at the oil pressure sensor. It is not terrible, hence the reason I have not fixed it. The speedo also does not work, just needs a new cable. There are also a few dents on the truck, as shown in the photos, but there is no rust that I have found.
Overall, the truck is in overall good condition. I would trust it to go just about anywhere. It has never left me stranded and has been reliable. I have another truck which is the reason I am selling. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.

For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
