What we have here is an original 1973 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne ordered from the factory with a big block 454. This truck was purchased from the original owner approx. 4 months ago after sitting in the garage for 18 years and has the original 87k miles on it. We never transferred the title to our name so you would be the 2nd owner of this truck. This truck was always garaged in its prior life and it is completely apparent given the condition of the paint, interior and dash board. There is a picture that shows the near perfect condition of the dash board showing no UV damage at all, and yes it is the original. The driver seat does show signs of wear but that is expected given when the owner had it he drove it as his play truck. The bed is as if nothing has ever been put in it, original wood and paint, undamaged, no scratches or anything. He did install as set of aftermarket headers, valve covers and air cleaner, but we do have all of the original parts he took off. This is an non A/C veh. We were told he never had any damage repair to the paint or body and given some very minor surface rust spots on the hood corner this could be true. When we retrieved the truck from the owner, it was not running and we didn't ask questions as far as the condition of the motor. We got it running, and bad news, it has a clack. We didn't buy this truck for anything else but resale but unfortunately it has this issue, so our loss is your gain. It will still run and drive but haven't tried to do for very long to prevent any additional damage to the motor. Any questions feel free to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for looking!

The Chevrolet Bolt is headed to China as a Buick SUV
Thu, Jan 16 2020When spy photos of what appeared to be Chevrolet Bolt EV with some minor front- and rear-end updates circulated last week, Autoblog surmised that GM was working on some sort of Bolt-based vehicle — potentially a crossover — to be sold in China as a Buick. We may just have corroboration for that theory. On Thursday, Motor1.com spotted a story published earlier this week on the Chinese site Auto Home which claims that GM has applied to sell an all-electric SUV under the Velite 7 nameplate in China. There's little differentiating the Velite 7's exterior from the Bolt EV's, apart from bumpers, badges, and a little extra ground clearance. Up front, the bowtie is replaced by a round Buick badge, and the bumper picks up an almost Prius-like appearance thanks to contrasting vertical elements and a thin grille bleeding into the head lights to give it a full-width appearance. Chevy Bolt-based prototype View 16 Photos If the Chinese report is accurate, there is one significant difference under the skin. Per the application, the Buick crossover variant is to be powered by a 174-horsepower electric powertrain. That's down 26 horsepower from the Bolt EV's powertrain, and we can't help but think that a lifted Buick variant might just need every pony it can get. The needs of the Chinese market are unique, and we're certain GM knows what it's doing if these figures are accurate. We have no reason to believe Buick plans to sell the Velite 7 EV here in the States, though we expect an updated Chevy Bolt eventually, and we wouldn't be surprised if Buick brings something along shortly to fill the void left by the departure of the Regal sedan and its variants. Related Video:
Hot Wheels' Twitter-enabled vending machine coughs up free Camaro diecasts
Wed, 27 Feb 2013There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.
Check out the video posted below to watch how it works, and while the auto show has ended and the free-car giveaway has too, we're almost certain that some of the 1,500 freebies will make their way onto eBay.
