This is a AR. 1972 chev c 10 custom cab with all the trim still on it and the original 402 big block with power steering, air, power brakes, automatic transmission. The truck has dual exaust all the way out the back that sounds real good. The motor runs good and is very dependable as I drove it 850 miles home at 65mph. but has some minor tappet noise that never changes. Does not seem to smoke and the transmission shifts like it is supposed to. The dash and door panels are nice and the seat is fair in it. The windshield has a crack. The doors close nice and the body is real nice but the only rust I found is front right fender at the extreme front and bottom by the bumper, both top of rockers shown in pics as well as the bottom of both doors only at the front bottom inside. Floors and mounts are great. I just put a 319. crome carb on it but have the original that rebuilt. Found out it was the pump so replaced with new electric fuel pump, 56. Put new wipers on it, gas and oil filters before driving back. You can drive this home wherever you live without worry. The tailgate pull handle feels like it is not hooked up. Has a nice tool box on it as well as a bed liner to save the bed from dents. The tires are real nice wide with good tread white lettered and the alum. wheels are clean and sharp. Cadillac XT4 crossover to be built in Kansas City
Mon, Jan 8 2018Cadillac's upcoming XT4, a crossover we've previously known as the XT3 in a long series of spy shots of heavily camouflaged mules, will be built at General Motors' assembly plant in Kansas City on the same platform as the Chevrolet Malibu, Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the plan. That will give Cadillac another entry in the red-hot luxury crossover segment and, GM hopes, help to reverse a sales slump in the U.S. It'll also breath life into the Kansas City plant that makes the slow-selling Malibu, where GM cut a third shift last year, by sharing the assembly line between the crossover and sedan and defraying costs for each vehicle. The XT4 was known most recently as the XT3, with styling cues based on the Escala concept sedan from 2016. It's slightly smaller than the XT5, Cadillac's top-selling vehicle, and will also augment the full-size Escalade in Cadillac's stable of SUVs when it makes its expected debut later this year. Cadillac last week reported its second-highest-ever sales mark with 356,467 vehicles, an increase of 15.5 percent over 2016. But that mark papers over an 8 percent sales decline in the U.S. to 156,440 vehicles. Chevy Gives World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner A Recalled Truck
Thu, Oct 30 2014Last night must have seemed like a dream come true for San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner. He helped his team win its third World Series Championship in four years, earned MVP status and was given a brand new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Bumgarner might want to hold off on taking a victory lap in his new truck however. The Colorado is currently under recall. General Motors issued a stop-delivery order earlier this month to fix the truck's air bag connectors, which were wired improperly during the manufacturing process. The faulty wiring can cause the system to deploy incorrectly. Only 138 customers have received their Chevrolet trucks, the rest were caught and repaired either in the plant or on their way to dealerships and show rooms. Recalls Chevrolet world series
