1967 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck Western Rust Free Lowered Hot Rod Classic on 2040-cars
Arlington, Washington, United States
|
For sale 1967 Chevrolet C10 truck. Features a fresh 350 V8, 4BBL carb, TH350 Automatic transmission, B&M floor mounted shifter, 12 bolt rear end with 373 gears, coil rear suspension, new front disc brakes, drum rears, $2500 invested in new BSA 20" x 8" wheels, Omni-directional tires in good condition, older AM-FM cassette, bench seat interior. Beautiful 1969 Camaro silver with custom stripes and flames on the hood. Stripes and flames appear to be black but are actually dark green metallic in bright sun. Inside there is a largely stock interior with bench seat and rubber floor mat. The steering wheel has been upgraded and better gauges added, other than that it is pretty stock inside. This RUST FREE WESTERN TRUCK needs little or nothing, runs and drives reliably, you can drive it anywhere in comfort and with confidence. This is a professional restoration done about seven years ago so while the body and paint are impressively straight, smooth and beautiful there are a few flaws, it has been driven; it is not a trailer queen. See last three pictures for defects. The bumpers have been re-chromed, the grill appears near perfect. Everything works and is in good operating condition. Call Pete at 360-631-3171 for additional information. |

Trophy truck chases Sasquatch driving a side-by-side for Recoil 3
Fri, Nov 13 2015Last year's Recoil 2 video of BJ Baldwin blasting through the outskirts of Ensenada, Mexico, in his trophy truck was already a fantastic improvement over the original clip. For the third installment in the series, he and his amazing camera team somehow turn up the excitement even higher. Rather than going back to the desert, Baldwin heads into the woods of the Pacific Northwest for some Sasquatch hunting in Recoil 3. Not only is the mythical beast quite real in this video, but it's apparently quite good at piloting a side-by-side too. The result is a high-speed chase through the forest that eventually moves to the urban jungle. Like in the previous Recoil clips, Baldwin showcases his amazing control over the 800-horsepower truck, and the suspension soaks up serious punishment from some huge jumps. The cinematography makes the stunts look even more exhilarating by always showing the perfect angle of the action. Chevrolet considering midsize crossover to slot between Traverse and Equinox
Mon, Jan 9 2017Crossovers are the new hotness, and automakers are looking to cash in by offering a size and shape for every customer. With Chevrolet's debut of the new 2018 Traverse in Detroit, which grew ever so slightly compared to the first-generation model, there is now a midsize-crossover-sized hole between the three-row Traverse and the compact Equinox. When asked about that obvious space, a Chevrolet spokesperson told us the company is looking into the possibility of expanding its crossover lineup. It should be a relatively simple thing to do, since all it would take is reskinning and rechristening the GMC Acadia with a bow tie, and we all know how much GM loves platform sharing. Although they're now different sizes, the new Acadia and Traverse still use the same platform; the Acadia is now on a short-wheelbase version of the C1XX while the Traverse uses long-wheelbase C1XX parts. A short-wheelbase Chevy built on the C1XX likely would be differentiated visually from both the Acadia and the larger Traverse. It may seem like flooding the lineup with more and more models would cannibalize sales of existing ones, but Chevrolet said it would rather have customers stay within the brand rather than going to another automaker. There have been whispers that some form of the Blazer name (possibly TrailBlazer) may make a return on a midsizer, but if it does don't expect an old-school body-on-frame SUV like the old one. In the end, if Chevy builds it, customers will come. Related Video:
Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
