For Sale
2004 Chevrolet Blazer with LS1 Engine conversion. I am selling this truck for less than what it would cost to procure the parts and do the conversion yourself. The truck is free.
The truck has 222,000 miles, the conversion was done at 160,000 miles so it is well shaken out. You can get in the truck and head out for anywhere you like. The
truck shipped from the factory well equipped, and I have owned it since 20,000 miles. It has the big brake option with discs out back, big sway bars and heavy duty springs.
In addition I have installed:
1998 Aluminum block LS1 from a Camaro with a 4L60E tranmission, rebuilt with all heavy duty components
Engine has a mild Comp Cam, Hand ported heads, Wiend intake, Shorty Headers. HP estimated north of 350
Wiring Harness which marries the ECM to the Blazer interior is from Current Performance. 255 LPH fuel pump
Heavy duty aluminum 2 Row radiator with 2 electric fans and custom shroud. Air conditioning is ice cold.
Locker rear end with new Moser axels, bearings, Seals.
Newer Bearing hubs up front, High performance brake pads.
17 Wheels and Tires.
When I put this truck together I wanted it to be a sleeper and I wanted to maintain the stock feel with spare tire and factory fuel tank intact so it has a 2 into 1 exhaust system
built for it.
Everything works as new except it has gobs of power, on the interstate 70 to 100 comes in just a few seconds. If you are thinking about doing this conversion this truck gets
you there faster for less than it would cost to gather the same quality parts and you could take it to the next level, cowl hood?? Lowering?? It is a four door but hey 4 doors are great.

Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.

Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.

Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
