This blazer has been transformed to a more fuel efficient & powerful 350 v8 (same engine size as original) that has been rebuilt recently with less than 4000 miles with an expensive custom Painless Wire harness for updated electrical & conversion to new engine - OBD also installed for diagnostics -
The transmission was rebuilt at the same time & is a th350 (automatic)
The drivetrain has also been recently rebuilt - front & rear end (Dana 44 & GM 12 bolt) 4.10 gears, np205 transfer case
Brakes are newer with upgraded front discs & brake booster (power brakes) - stops super straight & quick
Newer shocks & 31" all-terrian tires - Suspension is stock & has not been hacked up with a lift kit
15x10 rims
Billet style front grill
Kenwood head unit - cd player does not work but radio does
(4) infiniti 6x9 speakers
Interior is very clean for the age
Warn locking manual hubs
Roll cage needs finishing touches but is better looking & larger than the original - looks great with top off!
Top is in fair condition & could be easily fiberglassed to perfection - glass is in good condition - TOP CAN COME OFF but I never took it off myself
Was originally orange from the factory & then repainted black a long time ago. In the pictures you are seeing the original orange paint coming through the black paint (those are not rust spots)
Will need doors replaced if you want to fix the body as well as some inexpensive rear quarter patch panels. Parts are easily found on lmctruck.com, you can find used ones, or do the work yourself. Needs door locks replaced when doors are done, parts are like $30 for the locks. The body is the only thing left to complete this great truck. Has a solid floor but the average rocker panel rust. Don't get me wrong, the body is not horrible but needs work to bring it up to the standard the rest of the vehicle is at.
Speedometer needs to be calibrated to be exact, all the other gauges work properly. I marked the mileage as 1 but the odo reads 66k. I do not know the exact mileage on the frame but the pictures speak for themselves. Also needs a new passenger side turn signal light. No AC but does have spot for compressor & was originally an AC truck as you can see on the picture of the dash. Parking brake is not hooked up.
I also have a new gas tank & sending unit that comes with it. Current gas tank has a dent in it but the sending unit & gauge work fine. I bought a new sending unit just because I am not interested in removing the gas tank later down the road.
I ALSO HAVE 70+ ADDITIONAL PHOTOS & VIDEO THAT I CAN EMAIL TO YOU -

Car and Driver reveals spy shots of mid-engine 2017 Corvette
Thu, Jan 8 2015Some news in the car world is perennial, and some is perennially wrong. Typically news about some upcoming mid-engined Chevy Corvette has fallen into the latter category, with rumors never yet generating a road car. This time could very well be different. Car and Driver has some exclusive photographs of what would appear to be a Corvette test mule with a mid-mounted engine. The car in question might look like a Holden SSV ute that's undergone some indelicate modification, but C/D editor Don Sherman assures that the bones of a C8 'Vette live within that crude bodywork. Sherman points to the closeness of the cabin to the front axle as clue number one of this car's mid-engine attitude, as well as the powertrain-sized space between the back of the seats and the rear axle. The roof and glasshouse are all clearly plucked from the current C7, and the gas tank filler positioned on the B-pillar is another huge clue. The buff book estimates that the mule points to a timeline for sale, even. Testing on this level could mean a mid-engined C8 ready for sale in as few as 20 months, or for the 2017 model year. Click over to Car and Driver to have a close look at this important set of spy photographs, as well as a rendering of what a finished C8 might ultimately look like
GM recalls trucks and SUVs for brake pedal problem
Thu, Feb 11 2016The Basics: General Motors will recall over 473,000 North American examples of the 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado HD, GMC Sierra HD, and police pursuit versions of the Chevy Tahoe. These include 426,573 vehicles in the US and 46,837 in Canada, according to Reuters. The Problem: The brake pivot nut can loosen over time, which can render the pedal inoperative. This would be a danger to drivers trying to stop the vehicles. In some cases, the "Service Engine Soon" light might come on. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The Fix: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt, and if necessary they will apply adhesive to it and reinstall the part with increased torque. If You Own One: "We expect to start customer notifications shortly," GM spokesperson Tom Wilkinson told Autoblog. Related Video: Transport Canada Recall # 2016053 Recall Date 2016/02/04 Notification Type Safety Mfr System Brakes Manufacturer Recall Number 20760 Units Affected The number of vehicles or components affected by the recall. 46,837 Category Light Truck & Van, SUV Recall Details On certain Heavy Duty and Police Pursuit vehicles, the brake pedal pivot nut may become loose, causing the brake pedal to be loose or inoperative. If the brake pedal becomes loose or inoperative, it could interfere with the accelerator pedal, and/or the driver may be unable to safely stop the vehicle through application of the brake pedal, potentially affecting stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt installation to determine whether the vehicle has already received the production remedy. If not, the dealer will add adhesive to the nut, and reinstall the nut at an increased torque. Note: This condition may result in the "Service Engine Soon" light illuminating, and brake lights may stay on longer than expected. 2022 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra now cost more, again
Thu, May 26 2022GM Authority put Chevrolet and GMC pickup truck prices under the microscope, spying the same macroscopic issues none of us can avoid seeing: Price increases. The 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 have been hit with their third price increases this year. The Heavy Duty versions of those same trucks have been given their fourth price increases this year. Starting with the light-duty options, they've been rung up for another $900 across the board, which breaks down to $800 added to the MSRP and $100 added to the destination charge. The mandatory cost for shipping a truck from the factory to the dealer is now $1,795. That destination fee is now more than 5% of the purchase price of the least expensive 2022 Silverado, the Regular Cab Work Truck trim with a Standard Bed and 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder retailing for $36,395 after destination. And that price is $3,200 more than the initial list price from last December. At the other end, the Silverado ZR2 is up $3,400. Average that out, and the Silverado's MSRP has gone up by nearly $700 every month since initial pricing came out. On the GMC side, the bidding starts at $37,195 for the Regular Cab Pro trim with a Standard Bed, a $4,700 increase over pricing announced last October. Stepping up a tow rating or two, the Silverado HD is now $1,100 more expensive — $1,000 tacked onto the MSRP, the destination charge plumped another $100 to $1,795. The Silvy 2500 HD now starts at $41,295. The Sierra HD turns the screw a few more degrees, going up by $2,100 after the $100 increase for destination. The low bar for the Sierra 2500 HD is $41,995, a $4,100 rise over the price when it hit dealer lots last summer. Whew. Anyone know where the exit is for this "new normal?" Related video:
