NO RESERVE AUCTION

1960 CHEVROLET BEL-AIR   4-DOOR

This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION for a Very Nice Clean 1960 CHEVROLET BEL-AIR

This Belair has the Factory 6-Cylinder Engine, It cranks and runs Very good.  Engine starts right up every time.  Car does Not Smoke/Leak/Use/Burn any oil. Car has very good power and will cruise at 70-75 MPH with no worries.  I drive this car 3-4 days a week to work and around town.

Transmission is a 2-speed power glide, It shifts out through all gears very good and smooth. No slipping, No issues.

The Interior is in good original condition,  Seats have Mexican blankets on front and rear, they were like this when I bought the car, I have never pulled the off to see what the original seat covers look like, but I would guess they are there for a reason.  Driver door panel has a badly worn spot on the top right where you fore arm rests at.  Carpet is original and is a little stained or just old, but its good and works well. Headliner is good. Some of the windlace is pulled loose in a place or two.

All Lights and gauges work, even the dome light works when doors open.  Speed-o-meter works, Temp {idiot lite} works. Gas gauge works, wipers work, heater works, horn works, Head lights, Tail lights, Turn signals, Brake lights, Bright and Dim Lights, Interior lights...THEY ALL WORK.  Aftermarket Temp. gauge is installed in the dash.

The Body of the car is Very nice and straight, All doors open and close good, Trunk opens and shuts nice and solid, Hood opens and closes straight, All windows roll up and down good, Vent windows open easy, Car has Fender Skirts, They are not on in the first few pictures, BUT I have them on the car now and they fit nicely and look good on the car. All body panels look to be the original sheetmetal.  Chrome looks nice and shows well.  Bumpers are nice.  Floor Pans look nice,  Trunk Pan is Nice and solid. The Paint looks good, has a good patina to it, paint on the hood has a faded spot, but still looks good.

No Dents in the body.  No Rust in the body that I can see or find.  Car is nice daily driver or cruise to the shows.

The Tires are the Wide White Walls. Tires have good tread and look good. Original rims and hub caps.

As I said before, This Car Runs and Drives Very Good in town or on the highway, Car Does Not over heat, or have any issues that I know of.

Autoblog's guilty pleasure cars

Tue, Mar 10 2015

Guilty pleasures are part of life – don't even try to pretend like you don't have one (or two, or six). In the non-automotive space, this could come down to that secret playlist in your iPhone of songs you'll only listen to when you're alone; or think of that one TV show you really do love, but won't admit to your friends. I've got plenty, and so do you. Going back to cars, here's a particularly juicy one for me: several years ago, I had a mad crush on the very last iteration of the Cadillac DTS. Oh yes, the front-wheel-drive, Northstar V8-powered sofa-on-wheels that was the last remaining shred of the elderly-swooning days of Cadillac's past. Every time I had the chance to drive one, I was secretly giddy. Don't hate me, okay? These days, the DTS is gone, but I've still got a mess of other cars that hold a special place in my heart. And in the spirit of camaraderie, I've asked my other Autoblog editors to tell me some of their guilty pleasure cars, as well – Seyth Miersma, as you can see above, has a few choice emotions to share about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Read on to find out what cars make us secretly happy. Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG This decadent convertible is the epitome of the guilty pleasure. It's big, powerful, fairly heavy and it's richly appointed inside and out. It's a chocolate eclair with the three-pointed star on the hood. Given my druthers, I'd take the SL65 AMG, which delivers 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. That output is borderline absurd for this laid-back convertible. I don't care. You don't need dessert. Sometimes you just crave it. The SL line is about the feel you get on the road. The roof is open. The air, sun and engine sounds all embrace you. It's the same dynamic you could have experienced in a Mercedes a century ago, yet the SL gives you the most modern of luxuries. An Airscarf feature that warms my neck and shoulders through a vent embedded in the seat? Yes, please. Sure, it's an old-guy car. Mr. Burns and Lord Grantham are probably too young and hip for an SL65. I don't care. This is my guilty pleasure. Release the hounds. – Greg Migliore Senior Editor Ford Flex I drove my first Flex in 2009 when my mother let me borrow hers for the summer while I was away at college. The incredibly spacious interior made moving twice that summer a breeze, and the 200-mile trips up north were quite comfortable.

Chevy, Kia and Jeep win 2020 North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year

Mon, Jan 13 2020

Although the Detroit Auto Show is moving to the summer, the North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) awards were again announced in January. The car of the year is the 2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray. Utility of the year is the 2020 Kia Telluride. Truck of the year is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. None of these choices was particularly surprising. All of these cars were major releases that delivered on style, performance and functionality. That being said, the runners-up in each category were noteworthy, too. You can see the full list of finalists below. Which of these five plug-ins should win the 2017 Green Car of the Year?

Tue, Nov 8 2016

It's going to be a competitive race for the 2017 Green Car Of The Year. With a minivan in the running for the first time in ages, the five finalists announced by Green Car Journal today include five very different plug-in vehicles. As Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, said in a statement, "electrification is now considered by most automakers an essential technology for current and future high-efficiency models." Let's check out the list: Toyota Prius Prime, the updated plug-in version of the world's best-selling hybrid. Chevy Bolt, GM's all-new entry into the long-range EV game. Chrysler Pacifica, a family hauler with the ability to go 30 miles on electric power. Kia Optima. The nomination is for the full line-up, but really the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models are the green stars here. BMW 330e iPerformance, one of the automaker's many new plug-in hybrids that bring battery power to models outside the i sub-brand. Green Car Journal will announce the winners at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17th, along with some, "other green transportation announcements," whatever that means. Last year, the winner was the 2016 Chevy Volt, the first model to snatch up two wins. Which do you think should win this year?
