1957 Chevy Project Car. This is a solid beast ready to be taken to the next level. It was fairly solid from the start. Has new floor pans, inner and outer rockers, and some new braces here and there. The floors are sprayed with truck bedliner on the top and bottom. Body was off the frame. New body mounts and bolts are installed. The frame was stripped down, cleaned and sprayed with chassis black. The rear springs were moved inward with a McGaughys weld in spring pocket kit. Included new spring bushings. Shock relocation bracket was also welded in while the body was off. New shocks. Front end needs rebuilt. No motor, no trans, no drive shaft. All of the body parts were very solid and have just some small patch panels welded in before paint. The body was down to bare metal and epoxy primed. The doors open and close nice. The hood has one weak hinge but shuts good. Trunk needs a new latch. The body work is decent and fairly strait. It looks good considering black is the most unforgiving color. The paint is Dupont Basecoat/clearcoat. It has some imperfections, most of which can be wetsanded and buffed out. I did a quick sand and buff after it was painted to knock down the orangepeal but I didn't go crazy. There is a ton of clear to work with. The stainless on the sides are in good shape. They can be polished better, but I don't have the patience. I have the right fender spear ordered and it is included with the car and will be installed by Thursday. New door, trunk, glovebox lock with keys. New door handles. New tail light lenses. All new stainless hardware. The bumpers and other trim that is painted was not good enough to keep chrome. They will be good cores if someone wanted to swap them. I didn't go too crazy painting them. The charcoal pieces still show imperfections up close. I have the stainless trim for the front and rear windshield, also included. Wheels are 20x10 in the rear and 20X9 in the front. Tires have about 50 miles on them. If you don't want the wheels, I will deduct $750 from the winning bid and put some rollers on it. I have some new odds and ends pieces to the car. Some gaskets and weatherstrip. No interior. Back glass is included. Any questions, give me a call at 570-299-1755. I have a clear FL title in my name to the car. This is a big boy toy, so check with your wife, your girlfriend, your mom, your dog, or whoever you need to before bidding. I have the reserve set for the lowest amount I will consider for this car. If the reserve isn't met, the car will not sell. I am in no rush to sell the car, but am a motivated seller. Most of my auctions don't run the full 7 days, so feel free to send your best offer. The car can sit here as long as you need if its paid in full and I can recommend some transporters if you need.
If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks or just signed up with ebay in the past few months, call before you bid or I will cancel your bid.
The only trade I will consider is an old chevy 2 door or pickup project car and a fist full of cash. No boats, motorcycles, tractors, airplanes!!!!!!!

Domino's reveals Chevy Spark-based delivery car
Wed, Oct 21 2015Next time you order from Domino's Pizza, check out the delivery car. In an effort to get hot and fresh pizzas to hungry customers, the company is creating a small run of custom vehicles that are tailored for the job. Dubbed the Domino's Delivery Expert (DXP), these 2015 Chevrolet Spark-based hatchbacks pack a plethora of features to provide the perfect pie. When the DXP's on delivery duty, every order should arrive steaming hot thanks to the hatchback's biggest custom upgrade – a warming oven right behind the driver. Accessible from outside, it can keep pizzas at the perfect temperature on the way to your house and hold two of Domino's Heatwave bags. Other than the driver's seat, the rest of the interior also gets replaced with bountiful storage and non-slip surfaces. According to the company, as many as 80 pizzas could conceivably fit inside, and that would be quite a party. The exterior is still clearly derived from the Spark but with some clever additions. An illuminated "Out for Delivery" sign is on the roof, and a puddle light shoots the Domino's logo on the ground. Plus, the company's red-and-blue color scheme is emblazoned over the hood, pillars, and hatch. Underneath all the pizza-related mods, power comes from a 1.2-liter four-cylinder and CVT. Rather than just a one-off stunt, Domino's is working with Roush Enterprises and former General Motors exec Kenneth R. Baker to build 100 DXPs. They're hitting the streets in 25 US cities, and you can check if your locale is included on the project's website. The seed of this idea came from a partnership with Local Motors to crowdsource the ultimate pizza delivery platform. Domino's Launches Purpose-Built Pizza Delivery Vehicle Domino's Innovative DXP™ Created by Three Great Michigan Brands and an International Crowdsourcing Design Competition Ann Arbor, Mich., Oct. 21, 2015 -- In its latest innovation as the recognized world leader in pizza delivery, Domino's (NYSE:DPZ) is launching the Domino's DXP™ (Delivery Expert), a specially designed and built pizza delivery vehicle. The DXP is the combined brainchild of former GM R&D executive Kenneth R. Baker, Michigan-based Roush Enterprises and Domino's. To also include consumers' input, hundreds of concepts were initially identified in an online crowdsourcing design competition hosted by Local Motors. "The Domino's DXP is the first purpose-built vehicle aimed at revolutionizing pizza delivery," said Russell Weiner, president of Domino's USA.
McLaren, Koenigsegg, Toyota, Ford, Dodge and Corvette Lego kits announced for 2021
Tue, May 4 2021Lego has announced a slew of car-themed sets for 2021. The six kits comprise nine vehicles and fall under the brick pusher's Speed Champion line of official OEM-licensed kits. News of their arrival comes from German toy retailer JB Spielwaren's pre-order listings, which show three single-car sets and three dual-car sets of matched marques. Starting with the McLaren Elva roadster, the kit consists of 263 pieces and is finished in blue. It seems to have a difficult time capturing the curves of the real-life Elva, but there's only so much you can do with a bunch of plastic blocks. Lego has made several other McLaren kits before, including the Senna, 720S, and a more advanced Senna GTR for the Technics line. Next up is the Koenigsegg Jesko, made up of 280 pieces and finished in white. Though the real-life Jesko is still curvy, this kit does a better job of replicating its aggressive maw, vents and cantilevered rear wing. Rounding out the single-car sets is the 299-piece Toyota GR Supra in yellow. This marks the first time Toyota has lent their license to Lego. Again, it struggles a bit to represent the curvy Supra, relying on printed details like logos and headlights to identify. On the other hand, the Chevrolet two-car does a stupendous job with the 1968 Corvette. The C3 is instantly recognizable as such. The C8-R race car it's paired with suffers from the same issues as some of the previous cars, though. The set contains 512 pieces, and funnily enough the C8 driver has short hair while the C3 driver sports a period-correct wavy mane. The next set is a 627-piece Mopar-themed pair, including a purple (Plum Crazy?) 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A and an SRT top fuel dragster. The race car is spot on, but the Challenger was probably tough to make given the width restrictions. It looks a couple of pegs too narrow compared to the wide proportions of the real deal. Last but not least, the Ford set contains a Bronco R and Ford GT Heritage Edition. Consisting of 660 pieces, the set does an excellent job of representing both cars. The GT looks faithful in its Gulf livery, and the Bronco R looks more like a real Bronco than the actual Bronco R race truck. All in all, it's always fun to see more Lego sets with real cars, and we're glad to see more manufacturers added to the roster. The single-car sets are recommended for ages 7 and up, while the double-car sets have an 8 years and up rating. Price in U.S.
