Here for sale is a 1957 Chevy Belair 4 door sedan. Let me start off by saying I've been in the car business for over 37 years and I've owned everything from a 1971 Hemi Cuda to a 1953 Volkswagen Bug Convertible and in all those years I would have to say that this is the cleanest sweet heart of an all original Chevy that I have ever seen. The only body and paint work that has ever been done on this car since it left the factory in 1957 with the exception of two small spots on the lower right and left front fenders that were repaired years ago and there is one small hole in one of the outer floor braces on the floor with that being said this car is so amazingly preserved that I took over 150 photos and will post a link on this auction so you can see how incredibly clean this car truly is. It is truly a time capsule. The engine purrs like a kitten and the car shifts and drives as smooth as glass. If you remember there was an auction about 6 or 8 months back where an old couple owned a dealership and the family was selling a whole field of cars. An example like this in that auction was selling for $30,000 to $40,000 . Because the old saying goes they are only original once. This is a no reserve auction . This car will sell to the highest bidder. So bid to buy. As I will not end the auction I will let it run it's course. Upon viewing the photos they will speak for themselves. J.D. Power study identifies top seats for your tush

File under News your fanny can use: The seating systems in the Ford Escape and Edge, the Audi A3, Chevrolet Cruze, Kia Cadenza, Porsche Cayenne and Toyota Tundra received top marks in a new J.D. Power study on seating and seat belt quality and satisfaction. The J.D. Power 2017 Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study asked more than 77,000 new owners and lessees of 2017 model-year cars and light trucks to rate their vehicle's seats and seat belts within the first 90 days of taking ownership. The survey is broken up into seven vehicle segments and scored on total seat problems per 100 within each segment, with awards presented to the seating system supplier. Canadian auto supplier Magna won three of seven first-place awards for its seating systems in the A3, Escape and Edge. Ireland-based Adient got top marks for its seats in the Cadenza and Cayenne. Lear Corp. won for the Cruze, and Avanzar Interior Technologies scored highest for seats in the Tundra. J.D. Power says its study is intended for automakers and suppliers with quality and satisfaction information to be used in developing and marketing seating systems. "But the results are just as interesting to a consumer audience," the company says. "After all, some drivers spend a considerable amount of time behind the wheel, and it's helpful to know which vehicles offer the most comfortable seats for those long commutes." Ain't that the truth. Ford was the only automaker whose seat systems, both manufactured by Magna, received top honors in two segments: the Escape for mass-market compact SUV and the Edge for mass-market midsize/large SUV. J.D. Power says it used 22 attributes to measure seat quality, three measures of seat belt quality and 12 to measure satisfaction. Awards were presented to the seating suppliers. Hot air balloons caught in high winds drag fullsize SUV

A sudden storm front whipped up enough wind to send some hot air balloons flying into the air in Wisconsin over the weekend. One ballon proved so energetic that it was able to drag a fullsize SUV across a field and into a stand of tents. The freak accident occurred at Balloonfest in Waterford, Wisconsin. Spectators were horrified as balloons dragged handlers to the ground and launched with terrified pilots clinging to their baskets. Organizers had started packing up the colorful balloons due to ominous storm clouds when the wind kicked up. "Happened just like that; it was crazy," Nathan Fricke, crew member, told Fox 6. Winds were clocked at 40 to 50 miles per hour. A balloon caught in the wind dragged a large SUV (we think a Suburban or Yukon XL) hundreds of feet and into a cluster of tents on the edge of the staging area where balloons were on display for festival goers.
