I'M THE THIRD OWNER OF THIS ARIZONA CAR WHICH ONLY HAD 80K ORIGINAL MILES ON IT WITH 3 SPEED MANUAL ON THE COLUMN BEFORE THE RESTORE. SOLID CAR, NO RUST! THIS IS NOT A HACK JOB FROM A BUNCH OF BACKYARD MECHANICS PUTTING A LOT OF PRETTY STUFF AND FLUFF, (EITHER DOING IT WRONG OR THE WRONG PART!) SEEN IT ALL!.. ALL WORK WAS PROFESSIONALLY DONE FROM PRO SHOPS AND CERTIFIED MECHANICS. THE ONLY THING NOT TOUCHED IS THE ORIGINAL INTERIOR WHICH IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR THE AGE WITH ONLY BEAD STITCHING SPLITTING. THIS CAN BE REPAIRED AND THAT JUST DIDN'T GET DONE YET. INSTEAD OF NEW, I WANTED THE ORIGINAL REPAIRED. EVERYTHING LISTED IS ALL NEW WITH LESS THAN A THOUSAND MILES ON THE WHOLE RESTORE SO HERE IT GOES.......NOTE, I'M NOT PUTTING THE WORD "NEW" AFTER EVERYTHING, JUST KNOW THAT EVERYTHING IS.....NEW!

IN CONCLUSION, I KNOW I'M FORGETTING SOMETHING... THIS HAS BEEN A 5 YEAR PROJECT AND I REALLY DON'T WANT TO SELL HER BUT FOR PERSONAL REASONS, IT HAS TO GO AND SO THE RESERVE ON THIS CAR IS WAAAAYYY LESS THAN WHAT I HAVE INVESTED AND WAY LESS THEN SOMEONE BUYING A PROJECT CAR AND GETTING IT WHERE THIS ONE IS....WELL, WHAT I'M GETTING AT, WE AREN'T STUPID HERE, YOU'LL HAVE WAY MORE IN ONE FROM SCRATCH THEN JUST TAKING THIS OVER AND DO YOUR FINISHING TOUCHES.  FINISHING TOUCHES AS IN THE INTERIOR,...THAT'S IT, THE CAR IS DONE! OH YA, 2 INCH DROP SPINDLES AS WELL INSTALLED. THE SPEEDOMETER WORKS BUT I DISCONNECTED IT DUE TO IT STARTED MAKING NOISE. THE RADIO WORKS BUT I PULLED THE SPEAKER TO REPLACE AND NEVER DID. THE WIPER ARMS ARE ALL THERE, THE WIPER MOTOR QUIT. WAS PLANNING ON UPGRADING THE WIPERS AND THE SPEEDO. ALL GAUGES WORK AND DASH LIGHTS. CLOCK DOES NOT. ALL LIGHTS WORK, HORN WORKS, DOME LIGHT WORKS. THINK THAT'S ALL. I'LL ADD IF I THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE.  FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS.

Woodward Dream Cruise Photo Gallery | Classics and American muscle

Sun, Aug 21 2022

The 2022 running of the Woodward Dream Cruise just went down, and we were there from morning to evening drinking in the sweet sights and pre-emissions exhaust fumes. Yes, it’s a little smelly on Woodward Ave. this time of year. Just like always, the Dream Cruise invites all comers to cruise their machines on Woodward from Ferndale, MI to Pontiac, MI. Everybody is invited, but the original intent of the Dream Cruise was to highlight classic American muscle cars. YouÂ’ll see plenty of those in our mega gallery above, but weÂ’ve sprinkled it with a bunch of other vehicle types, such as modern muscle and other intriguing American vehicles. Similar to years past, though, sometimes the classics arenÂ’t the most entertaining thing to look at on Woodward. ThatÂ’s why weÂ’ll have other mega galleries coming soon, highlighting the weird cars and (great) dogs of the Cruise, all the imports and exotics you can imagine and a special one for all the trucks of Woodward — perhaps even more so than in years past, the truck population on Dream Cruise day was quite high. Click through above to see all the classics you wouldÂ’ve seen had you been roadside on the day of the cruise. And if you missed this yearÂ’s event, make sure you check out what happens next year. You wonÂ’t be alone, as itÂ’s estimated that over 1 million people attend the Dream Cruise to either watch from the side of the road or to sit in the most glorious traffic jam in the world. Best Convertibles for 2022

Thu, Jun 30 2022

The past decade has not been kind to the drop-top enthusiast. No matter which dealer you walk into, convertible models have been biting the dust left and right. Nissan Z? Audi TT? Buick Cascada? Volkswagen Eos? All gone. Remember the humble Chrysler Sebring/200? Well, you do now. Fortunately, though, the news isn't all bad. There are still plenty of options out there for those who absolutely must have a convertible. Whether you need something to haul behind your retirement cruiser, a performance car that can go toe-to-toe with the best in the world or just something that allows you to sling the roof back after a long day of on-location business meetings before catching the flight back to your everyday hustle and bustle, there's at least one cabriolet out there to suit your needs. Here are our picks and starting prices for the top convertibles in several categories for 2022.  For the frugal open-top lover: 2022 Mini Convertible ($34,650) Let's face it; gas ain't cheap. But open-top motoring doesn't need to be a wallet killer. The Mini is cheap (at least by 2022 standards) and an absolute joy to drive, so there's really no downside here ... except for the roof. Get it?    For the hardtop lover: 2022 Mazda MX-5 RF ($37,260) / 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible ($69,695) The number of hardtop convertibles has seriously dwindled due to weight concerns and the fact that fabric roofs have gotten so quiet, but there are still some options for those who prefer a more coupe-like look with the roof up. Our picks here are the delightfully Targa-like MX-5 Miata RF and literally any Corvette Stingray — even the hardtop has a removable roof!    For long road trips: 2022 Ford Mustang Convertible ($34,100) The first image that comes to mind for many who are told to visualize an American convertible is the classic Ford Mustang. It's not the only drop-top pony car out there, but thanks to the Camaro's tiny trunk, it's much harder to see the USA in a Chevrolet when a drop-top enters the equation. The Mustang has much more cargo space and a much larger opening, which is likely the difference between keeping your bags under lock and key or leaving them exposed in the back seat.    For towing behind an RV: 2022 Jeep Wrangler ($31,590) While many small runabouts make sense for towing behind a motor home (or nestled up inside a fancier one), the Wrangler has a serious advantage when it comes to RVing: it can easily be flat-towed.

Next-generation GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado spied together

Mon, Jun 13 2022

With the debut of the next-generation GMC Canyon coming in a couple of months (in off-road-ready AT4 guise no less), it's no surprise that both it and the Chevy Colorado are out testing without the heavy coverings of early prototypes. One of our spy photographers caught examples of both trucks with close-fitting vinyl wraps. This gives us a great opportunity to see each pickup more clearly, but also to compare and contrast the designs. From the front, the GMC features a narrower, but seemingly taller grille. At the top are slender lamps. They seem to be daytime running lights, though, and below them are much larger units that will function as the actual headlights. The prototype shown seems to be one of the AT4 variants, based on the lack of a lower air dam and the opened up corners of each bumper. Small fog lights show up in the lower bumper, too. As for the Chevy, its grille is wider, and it blends into the headlights. The lights are at the top of the grille, and they seem to incorporate the actual headlights, not just running lamps. The grille mesh has some interesting detailing, and there are auxiliary lights below the main headlights. This one seems to be a more mainstream Colorado model since it still has a front air dam, possibly a Z71 model, considering the chunky tires. Not surprisingly, the two trucks are very similar from the sides and the rear. They have cabins that look lower, longer and more squared-off than the current models. The fenders look more punched out and aggressive, too. The main differentiator between the Chevy and GMC are the wheel openings. The GMC has sharp corners and the Chevy has more rounded ones, as is the case with the full-size trucks. As previously mentioned, the GMC Canyon AT4 will be revealed this summer, so likely in just a month or two. The Colorado will likely be revealed this summer, too. It's expected that it will use the turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder shared with the Silverado. Naturally, it will be available with two- and four-wheel drive and a variety of trim levels including the AT4 and ZR2 off-road versions. Related video:
