1957 Chevrolet Bel Air
I will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family. We are reducing our number of cars, so
please see my other listings as well. I am not a dealer.
This was a car that we had plans to drive and show occasionally, but sometimes life has other plans, and we have
decided to sell it to someone who we hope will give it a good home.. If you want a '57 Chevy, that you can drive
and enjoy, you should give this car some serious consideration. I believe this will be both a fun car and a great
investment for the next owner.
Details/Features:
283 Power Pack V8 Engine (4 BBL)
3 Speed Manual Transmission (shifts easy and smooth)
AM/FM Radio with remote
New Wide White Wall Tires
Dual Exhaust (sounds great!)
Detailed Engine and Trunk Compartments
Recent check up, tune-up, etc.
The engine idles well, makes GREAT power, and starts well every time. The transmission shifts smoothly and the
clutch has no shudder. Steers and stops very easy with the standard steering and brakes. Drives straight down the
road with no unusual vibrations, pulling, etc. The car is a great driver! FYI - We had planned on adding AIR
CONDITIONING to this car, but never got around to it. If you would like that added, it can be done for the new
buyer if desired. Please message me for details.
I welcome any/all personal inspections from a potential buyer in person, but I will not work with inspection
companies. Shown by appointment only.
Drive home or I can help ship this car to your door at a reduced rate via enclosed transport.

'Baby Driver' is a car chase movie set to music
Mon, Mar 13 2017The Fate of the Furious is certainly the 6,000-pound SUV in the garage of automotive movies, but that doesn't mean gearheads are starved for options. The upcoming film Baby Driver looks to be a winner for car guys, featuring exciting chases with cars including a "hawk-eye" Impreza WRX, a Dodge Challenger, and a 1980s Chevy Caprice. The movie is written and directed by Edgar Wright, whom you may know as the man behind movies such as Sean of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. And based on the two trailers released so far, seen above and below, it's about a young man by the name of Baby, who is a getaway driver for criminals. He's apparently the best in the business, and the secret to his success is the music he listens to while he's driving. He also wants out, but his boss, played by Kevin Spacey, has no intention of letting him go. Spacey is one of a number of major stars in the film, including Jamie Foxx and John Hamm. The driving action shown in the trailers definitely looks entertaining. The WRX is seen doing an array of drifts and J-turns. There is some driving precision on display here that wouldn't be out of place in a Gymkhana video. And it looks like Wright's attention to detail in his shots and transitions, as well as some solid comedy relief, are all going to be present. The film comes out this August. Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
