1955 Chevy Bel Air Sport Couple Hardtop on 2040-cars
Adairsville, Georgia, United States
Here is a 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hard top. Everything for the car is there. Except bumpers, glass, or soft rubber parts like carpet, weather stripping, bushings, etc. Here is a list of some of the work that has been done: it has new floor pan from the toe board all the through to the tail lights, there are no patches its all new it has had both quarter panels replaced both inter and outer rocker panels replaced trunk lid is new, package tray is new, it has a disk break conversion kit for the front, new tail lights, all the body parts are there... it will need driver door replaced. this is a crate engine ( Good Wrench 350) yes it is dirty in the pictures but it does run. ** it only has about 5,000 miles on it*** It does have have a new power steering box, Camaro rear end in good shape ( see pics) Drum breaks on the rear, This is a project car.. It has had a bunch of work that I have done! It could be finished without removing the body from the frame. but a rotisserie paint job would make this car awesome . I am including all the parts to put it together that I have (see pics) This is what the car is missing: both bumpers, radiator, clutch, fly wheel, Has a flex plate on it now. shocks, brake lines, all glass is missing, This car is about 80% complete. There is a few minor rust spots, that needs a attention. I can roll this car on your trailer if need be. local pick up only ask any and all questions! Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
