1955 CHEVY
Being offered is a very nice 1955 Chevy Bel Air 210. This car looks, runs, and sounds awesome. Here is your chance
to invest in one of the most sought after body styles GM ever made, and they are steadily going up in value, and
getting harder to find each year. This car offers the following:
POWERTRAIN
This Chevy is powered by a strong running rebuilt 350 engine with stock cam. It's fueled by a new Holley 600 Carb
with electric choke, Elderbrock High Rise Aluminum Intake, MSD plug wires, new starter, new dual 2.5" exhaust,
turbo style mufflers with tail pipes and chrome tips. The car has new polished aluminum billet valve covers, chrome
alternator, and billet pulleys. The car has recently had new belts, new fluids, new battery. All suspension
components, and brakes are in good working condition. The trans is a Muncie 4 speed with newer clutch and Hurst
competition shifter. The rear end is a stock with 3:55 gear, and with new bearings and fluids. This car runs
strong, and is a blast to drive.
EXTERIOR
This Chevy has a very slick paint job, on a laser straight, solid, and dent free body. The car was professionally
painted with PPG basecoat/ clearcoat, GM Orange, and has been well kept and well maintained for shows and cruise
in's, and shows mirror like reflections as can be seen in the pictures. I would rate the paint a strong 9 to 9.5.
It is pretty much show quality all around. There are a few rock chips here and there, nothing major. It also has
new chrome bumpers front and rear, and all new emblems, new crests, and hood bird. The doors, under hood and trunk
jams are very nice as well. The undercarriage is very solid. The floors, wheel wells, trunk, and frame are all
pretty solid for a 60 year old car. All weatherstrip, and felts are nice. The Chevy has a very nice set of New
American Racing Torq Thrust 2 polished aluminum wheels, 15 X 7 fronts and 15x8 rears with 225 60 and 245 60 15 with
good tires. The car has a nice stance and gets looks and compliments everytime I take it out.
INTERIOR
This 55 has a very clean custom tan leather interior. The front and rear seats are in perfect condition. The door
panels are in perfect condition as well. Car has new carpet and new leather headliner. The glass and chrome trim
around the glass, are in nice condition. Windows have a light tint to them. The dash and top of door panels are
finished out as slick as the outside of the car. All brake and turn signal, and exterior lights work. All gauges
work as they should accept for the factory speedometer. Gas guage works but doesnt read correctly. The car has a
nice set of Aftermarket gauges that include water temp, oil pressure, Gas and Volts.

2016 Chevy Camaro performance figures released
Mon, Sep 14 2015If you want to make a car faster, there are two sure-fire ways to get the job done – add power and/or reduce weight. Chevy has done both for the 2016 Camaro, putting as much as 455 horsepower into its muscle coupe and shaving a few hundred pounds from every trim. That range-topping power comes courtesy of a 6.2-liter V8 engine, and it's enough grunt to push an automatic-equipped Camaro SS to 60 miles per hour in just 4.0 seconds flat (4.3 seconds with a manual) and down the quarter mile in 12.3 seconds at 116 mph (12.5 at 115 for the stick). Not coincidentally, those acceleration specs, at least on paper, put the V8-powered Camaro SS just above the Mustang GT on the muscle-car pecking order. When the road gets twisty, Chevy claims the Camaro SS can generate as much as .97 g on the skidpad. And, thanks in part to its Goodyear Eagle F1 summer tires, the SS can stop from 60 in as little as 117 feet. We look forward to finding out how nimble the new Camaro feels when compared to its primary competitors.
Your browser does not support iframes.
Moving down one notch to the 335-hp 3.6-liter V6, properly equipped 2016 Camaro coupes can hit 60 in as few as 5.1 seconds and cover the quarter in 13.5 at 103. Perhaps even more intriguingly, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and its 275 horsepower (the only configuration quicker with a manual transmission, incidentally) can propel the Camaro to 60 in 5.4 seconds and through the 'ol 1320 in 14 seconds flat. That's seriously quick, but buyers comparing the Camaro to the Mustang will find that the EcoBoost 2.3-liter is a bit more powerful (310 hp and 320 lb-ft) and quicker (5.1 seconds to 60). Chevy is making lots of noise about the efforts its engineers went through to shed weight from the 2016 Camaro, going so far as to shave down suspension bolts so that no thread went unthreaded. The weight-saving obsession pays off – base Camaro models are down 390 pounds while the SS model drops 223 pounds over the 2015. The 2016 Camaro SS boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 8.1 lbs per pony, a 14-percent improvement over the last-gen. Even though weight is down, chassis stiffness is said to be up by 28 percent over the fifth-gen Camaro coupe. Also of note: The Camaro is now lighter than the Mustang across the board when comparing like-to-like configuration levels. The 2016 Chevy Camaro starts at $26,695 (including $995 for destination).
Chevrolet planning new crossover between Equinox and Traverse
Wed, Jul 22 2015Chevrolet is taking a crowbar to its crossover lineup so it can slide in a new entry between the Equinox (shown) and the Traverse, according to a report in Automotive News. The current Equinox, a tweener compared to its rivals, will get smaller when the next-generation vehicle moves to the Delta platform that underpins the Chevrolet Cruze. The next Traverse will remain full-size, the liberated space between it and the smaller Equinox making room for a fourth offering from the brand. Designed on a short-wheelbase version of the Traverse platform, AN's sources say it will offer three-row seating, and its architecture will also serve the Cadillac SRX successor, the XT5, and the redesigned GMC Acadia. Yes, the Acadia will also come down a notch in size. Once all the rationalizing is complete, the Trax, Equinox, new crossover, and Traverse would give consumers a quicker, easier way to compare size and features with the competition. As it stands, the Ford Edge, Nissan Murano, Honda Pilot, and Toyota Highlander are all larger than the Equinox. The future offering and its two- and three-row seating options would take clear aim at those four vehicles, and the Equinox could focus on the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Jeep Cherokee segment. The new Chevy is predicted to go on sale at the end of next year as a 2018 model. Related Video: Featured Gallery 2015 Chevrolet Equinox View 14 Photos News Source: Automotive News - sub. req. Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series
Thu, Apr 9 2015Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.
