This is a low mileage classic has 73,181 actual miles to be exact. It has a beautiful color combo. It is regal turquoise and white on the exterior as well as the interior. The interior is all original and is decent for its age. The stereo was replaced with a factory looking one and it has an electric antenna. This 55 has had some upgrades, such as a very nice built high performance 350 V-8 with hooker headers, aluminum intake, edelbrock 4 barrel carb., electronic distributor, no points to worry about. Full dual exhaust to the rear, sounds great! Great powerful engine, not cammed or loping, just smooth power with a low rumble. It also sports a 700r4 transmission with overdrive for nice interstate driving and a power disc brake conversion that stops the car on a dime. It handles like a late model car with no rattles. Also has an after market gear indicator with overdrive that sports the factory look (as seen in pics). Thousands have been spent to make this jewel perform like a late model car. This is Not your average 55 Chevy! The underside is solid, floors, mounts, rockers... The white is nice and the turquoise is a little faded but gives it a cool original classic look. As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.

The 2016 Detroit Auto Show will kick off with the announcement of the annual North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and the three finalists in each category have just been revealed. Following this announcement, the jury – which includes Autoblog editor-in-chief Mike Austin Â– will re-evaluate each candidate before casting a final vote for the winner.
