We understand that buying a vehicle online can sometimes leave you un-easy. We are aware that there are other dealers online that do not fully describe the vehicles listed. They might leave important information out, or not have a thorough description of that item.

Our goal is simple. Word of mouth and return business is something we take very serious! We achieve this by providing you with all of the information YOU need to make a comfortable decision, and hopefully proceeding to your investment, a vehicle! We strive for A+ satisfaction. We do not want to waste anyone’s time, and definitely don’t want to mislead you. This is why we inform you of EVERYTHING we know, and provide you with detailed descriptions and conditions of the item for sale.

These Chevrolet Astro's are hard to find in good shape. This 8 passenger vehicle is in great running and driving condition. There is a power inverter professionally installed so you can power electronics like you would at home. Because of the small size, this vehicle is easy to drive, park and it is gas efficient.

INTERIOR: The pictures show this vehicle well. The upholstery is very clean and there are no rips and tares. The carpet even looks good. The heat works great and so does the a/c. The radio functions properly also. This looks like a very well maintained vehicle, ideal for a transporting people or something to take the family around in!

EXTERIOR: The exterior is actually very nice. The paint is in excellent shape, the clear coat is still very smooth. The green shimmers in the sunlight and looks amazing. The tires have plenty of tread left on all four tires. There is a spare also. I checked the undercarriage for rust, and did not see any rot. Astro's are known for rust on the doors, frame and wheel wells, but this one looks to be garage kept.

MOTOR/HANDLING: The engine bay looks clean and I bet you are wondering what the jump starter clamp is for? That is the power wire for the power converter. When needed, this clamps onto the positive terminal on the battery and then it will supply power to the unit. The engine starts right up every time and idles with no smoke or noises. The acceleration is just fine and it shifts smooth through every gear. The brakes are also in great working order. The powered steering is easy and smooth. The suspension is very effecting at absorbing the imperfections in the road and making a quiet ride. On tight turns the van handles well and there is no pinging or knocking.

This is a perfect family vehicle or just a great way to transport customers or friends. This can also be great for work. The seats come out easily making a lot of room for tools or materials. These Chevy vans are known for running 300k miles under proper maintenance, and this one has a great start on making those kind of miles. If you are interested and you have questions, please feel free to contact me. I am considering all reasonable offers. Thank you for looking and good luck! -Daryl

Chevy Gives World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner A Recalled Truck

Thu, Oct 30 2014

Last night must have seemed like a dream come true for San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner. He helped his team win its third World Series Championship in four years, earned MVP status and was given a brand new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Bumgarner might want to hold off on taking a victory lap in his new truck however. The Colorado is currently under recall. General Motors issued a stop-delivery order earlier this month to fix the truck's air bag connectors, which were wired improperly during the manufacturing process. The faulty wiring can cause the system to deploy incorrectly. Only 138 customers have received their Chevrolet trucks, the rest were caught and repaired either in the plant or on their way to dealerships and show rooms. Recalls Chevrolet world series

A car writer's year in new vehicles [w/video]

Thu, Dec 18 2014

Christmas is only a week away. The New Year is just around the corner. As 2014 draws to a close, I'm not the only one taking stock of the year that's we're almost shut of. Depending on who you are or what you do, the end of the year can bring to mind tax bills, school semesters or scheduling dental appointments. For me, for the last eight or nine years, at least a small part of this transitory time is occupied with recalling the cars I've driven over the preceding 12 months. Since I started writing about and reviewing cars in 2006, I've done an uneven job of tracking every vehicle I've been in, each year. Last year I made a resolution to be better about it, and the result is a spreadsheet with model names, dates, notes and some basic facts and figures. Armed with this basic data and a yen for year-end stories, I figured it would be interesting to parse the figures and quantify my year in cars in a way I'd never done before. The results are, well, they're a little bizarre, honestly. And I think they'll affect how I approach this gig in 2015. {C} My tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015 it'll be as high as 73. Let me give you a tiny bit of background about how automotive journalists typically get cars to test. There are basically two pools of vehicles I drive on a regular basis: media fleet vehicles and those available on "first drive" programs. The latter group is pretty self-explanatory. Journalists are gathered in one location (sometimes local, sometimes far-flung) with a new model(s), there's usually a day of driving, then we report back to you with our impressions. Media fleet vehicles are different. These are distributed to publications and individual journalists far and wide, and the test period goes from a few days to a week or more. Whereas first drives almost always result in a piece of review content, fleet loans only sometimes do. Other times they serve to give context about brands, segments, technology and the like, to editors and writers. So, adding up the loans I've had out of the press fleet and things I've driven at events, my tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015, it'll be as high as 73. At one of the buff books like Car and Driver or Motor Trend, reviewers might rotate through five cars a week, or more. I know that number sounds high, but as best I can tell, it's pretty average for the full-time professionals in this business.
