Hello, For sale is a beautiful 1999 Cadillac Seville STS with only 78,000 miles. This was my moms car and she recently passed away. It really was "grandmas car". The car has a clear title in my name, a clean carfax, no accidents, no paintwork ever, and is in outstanding condition. The car has all the normal Cadillac options, plus the moonroof, Bose Stereo, Traction control, heated leather seats, and chrome wheels. The exterior is very nice with no rust, no door dings, or dents, Has some random rock chips around, but minor. The car has been consistently washed and waxed and the paint looks very shiny. Garaged kept always. The wheels do not have curb rash. The tires have 6000 miles on them. The interior is very nice. No odors, no smokers. Leather is outstanding and very soft. Carpet has no rips or odors. Everything works. I have driven this car for the last 3000 miles and the car drives very nice. Rides like a Cadillac. Gets pretty good gas mileage also-about 21-22 in mixed driving. I got 26 MPG on a trip to Chicago and back. I have done the following maintenance: New brakes all around and turned rotors, Changed Transmission fluid, Oil Change and Tire Rotation. As far as I can tell, mechanically it needs nothing. There are 2 items that are not perfect on the car: one of the speakers does not work correctly, and there is a squeak in the front when hitting bumps. I think it is a bushing as the tire wear is perfect so it is not a strut. Anyway, that is all I can find. I have been the person that has washed, waxed, and cleaned this car up for the last 4 years since my mom got the car. I know that this is a great car that has been taken care of. The original owner of the car lived across the street from my mom. The only repair she had in the last 4 years is a new fuel pump. This is not your run of the mill used car that will need a bunch of repairs. This is a great car that my mom loved and will be a great car for the next owner. Call Ted at 314-566-4272. Here comes the legal junk: Sold as is, cash only or payment method approved by seller, no trades, no shipping, Paypal available for down payment only. Thanks.

GM follows Ford and Honda in skipping SEMA
Fri, May 20 2022The list of automakers skipping SEMA has become longer. First reported by Muscle Cars and Trucks, and confirmed to us by a company representative, General Motors will not have an official presence at the aftermarket show. It joins Ford and Honda in leaving the show. It will be a large hole in the show, with the GM brands typically filling a significant swath of available show space in one of the main halls. GM hasn't provided much explanation for the move, either. The GM representative provided Autoblog with the same statement that Muscle Cars and Trucks got: "GM has made the decision not to participate in the 2022 SEMA Show. The SEMA show has always inspired us, and accessories and performance parts remain an important part of our business." We also asked if we would see any sort of announcements around the time of the show — Ford said it has plans to share some things around that time — however, the GM representative said that the company has no immediate plans for announcements. Certainly things could change between now and the November show, though. SEMA had previously noted that other exhibitors would help fill in some of the space vacated by these major OEMs. Another OEM, Volkswagen, is returning to the show after an absence, which will also help with the display deficit. Cadillac puts on a big performance for the Oscars with 'Rise' campaign
Sun, Feb 24 2019Cadillac skipped the Super Bowl, saving its big play for the 91st Oscars telecast tonight. America's luxury brand has a presence planned for nearly every medium, from television to Twitter to stairstep stories tied into the new commercial campaign. Speaking of which, that campaign is called "Rise," and lauds the "now-complete SUV portfolio" as well as Cadillac's determination to get back to the top. Four new spots will debut: "Rise Above," celebrating the XT6 and the rest of the new range, "Take the Stage," focused on the Escalade, "Make Your Escape," all about the XT4, "Take Flight," for the XT5. The first commercial will be 60 seconds, while the other three are 30-second spots. Cadillac chose Childish Gambino's song "Me and Your Mama" for the campaign soundtrack — it works a lot better than you might guess based on the track name. Beyond that, the Cadillac logo will grace the red carpet, the first time any commercial logo has made a home on the walk of honor. The stairs will be decorated with blue horizontals, inspired by the stair-like pattern of blue in the Cadillac crest. The blue in the carmaker's logo is said to represent "knightly valor" — which, yes, is totally made up, but Cadillac made it up a long time ago, not for this campaign. The real point is that two celebrities in attendance will stand on the steps and present their own stories of rising up. You can check out all the commercials here, watch them unveiled in real time during the Oscars telecast, keep up with what your eleventy hundred Twitter friends think by checking out the hashtag #KeepRising, and finish it off with some time on the Keep Rising microsite.
