UP FOR SALE ON A NO RESERVE AUCTION- A 1991 CADILLAC SEVILLE SEDAN. THIS PARTICULAR ONE IS CALLED THE SOUTHWEST EDITION, AND AFTER 20 YEARS IN THE CAR BUSINESS I HAVE TO SAY I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE!!! I ASSUME IT IS A LIMITED PROMOTIONAL CADDY MADE FOR DEALERS IN THE SOUTHWEST UNITED STATES. ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PAPERWORK SHOWS IT BEING SOLD NEW IN ARIZONA. ALL OF THE EMBLEMS, TRUNK LUGGAGE RACK, FENDER VENTS ECT ARE PLATED IN GOLD.
THIS PARTICULAR CAR HAS ONLY 79000 MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER. BODY IS IN EXCEPTIONAL SHAPE OVERALL, NO DENTS, RUST OR SCRATCHES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE VERY REAR OF THE CAR. IT APPEARS THAT IT WAS BUMPED HARD FROM BEHIND, STRIKING NEAR THE LICENSE PLATE. IT PUSHED THIS AREA IN A BIT, AND CAUSES THE TRUNK LATCH TO NOT CLOSE THE TRUNK COMPLETELY. IT MUST HAVE HAPPENED NOT TOO LONG AGO, BECAUSE THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF WEATHER INTRUDING INTO THE TRUNK. I BELIEVE IT IS AN EASY FIX FOR ANY QUALIFIED SHOP WITH THE RIGHT TOOLS. THE TRUNK LATCH STILL OPERATES PROPERLY GOING UP AND DOWN AS DESIGNED.
THE INTERIOR IS IN OVERALL GREAT SHAPE AS WELL, THE VERY FRONT BOLSTERS ON THE FRONT SEATS ARE TORN, BUT THAT TOO SHOULD BE AN EASY FIX, AS IT IS JUST THE FLAT PART OF THE SEAT, NOT THE TUFTED PART. CARPET IS EXCELLENT, FLOOR MATS ARE OK. DOOR PANELS ARE ALL GOOD. REAR SEAT IS EXCELLENT. HEADLINER IS CLEAN, HAS A COUPLE OF MINOR DROOPY SPOTS WHICH ARE HARDLY NOTICEABLE. DASH IS MINT.
ALL ELECTRONICS SUCH AS SEAT MOTORS AND DASH DISPLAYS WORK PERFECTLY. THE DRIVERS WINDOW GOES DOWN OK, BUT WHEN IT STARTS TO COME UP IT MOVES SLOWLY, AND TILTS THE WINDOW SO THAT YOU HAVE TO HELP IT UP. I BELIEVE THIS IS JUST THE WINDOW REGULATOR AND IS A $100.00 FIX.
AIR BLOWS COLD, INFORMATION CENTER IS ACCURATE AS WELL.
TIRES ARE NEW, BRAKES ARE OK, BUT MAY NEED FRONT PADS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
ENGINE RUNS PERFECTLY, NO NOTICEABLE LEAKS. I HAD IT RUNNING WITH THE A/C ON IN THE DRIVEWAY ON A 85 DEGREE DAY FOR 30 MINUTES AND IT STAYED BETWEEN 195 AND 197 DEGREES ON THE INFORMATION PANEL.
THE TOP IS IN SO-SO CONDITION, IT IS PULLING IN FROM THE EDGES, AND SHOWING SIGNS OF WEAR. YOU CAN SEE WHERE SOMEBODY HAS GLUED THE EDGES DOWN. NOT THE WORST FIX, BUT NOT THE BEST EITHER.
THIS WOULD BE A DANDY OLD CADDY WITH A LITTLE MINOR ATTENTION TO SOME OF THE DETAIL ITEMS..
GLASS IS ALL CLEAN WITH NO CRACKS
I WILL REQUIRE A $500.00 DEPOSIT AT AUCTIONS END, AND THE BALANCE DUE BY CASH OR WIRE TRANSFER WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL BIDS BY NO OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK BIDDERS. YOU CAN SEE BY MY TIME ON EBAY AND SCORE I AM AN HONEST SELLER. I WILL DO ANYTHING TO HELP THE BUYER INSOFAR AS ARRANGING SHIPPING, RIDES FROM THE AIRPORT OR WHATEVER. I WILL ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS ACCURATELY AND PROMPTLY. YOU MAY EMAIL ME OR CALL ME AT 320-260-0502 WITH ANY QUESTIONS NOT ANSWERED HERE. THANKS FOR LOOKING, BOB

2020 Cadillac XT4 Review and Buying Guide | Competence and curb appeal
Thu, Aug 8 2019The 2020 Cadillac XT4 is a handsome little crossover distinctively sized between two segments. This allows it to boast backseat space on par with larger SUVs like the Audi Q5, while being a bit more park-able and fuel efficient like the BMW X1. There should definitely be a Goldilocks "just right" thing going on for many shoppers. Cadillac's baby SUV also impresses on the technology front, boasting loads of standard, advanced features along with a user-friendly touchscreen interface that shouldn't be too hard to figure out. There are dynamic missteps, though. The steering, throttle and brake pedals lack the driver-oriented response and feedback we've come to expect from Cadillac's sharply tuned sport sedans, while also not exactly possessing the nice-and-easy isolation of Caddy's past. In either scenario, we're not sure it "drives like a Cadillac" despite some otherwise impressive engineering going on underneath that handsome skin. The XT4 is also pretty expensive given its features, size and interior quality. Competitors both larger (Acura RDX) and smaller (Volvo XC40) provide better value. Still, as we noted in our XT4 first drive, there's enough novel tech to provide bragging rights, it's obviously a Cadillac in design (and definitely not just a rebadged Chevrolet in execution), and it's a pleasing enough place to sit while scooting around in traffic. It has competence and curb appeal, which count for a lot. What's new for 2020? After being an all-new model last year, the XT4 heads into 2020 with some noteworthy features updates: Forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking are now standard, while the Premium Luxury trim level gets the hands-free power liftgate as standard equipment. Â What's the XT4's interior and in-car technology like? The XT4's interior design isn't as memorable as that of its exterior, nor its stylish Volvo XC40 and Lincoln Corsair competitors. It's a bit generic, which just doesn't seem right for a Cadillac. Materials quality is acceptable when closer to its base price, but begins feeling less so as options are added and the price tag rises. We've also driven multiple XT4's with an annoying rattle in the B pillar. Standard infotainment technology is abundant. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included with the standard 8-inch touchscreen and benefit from a pair of USB ports: one standard USB-A and the other a newer USB-C.
GM to add 1,200 workers at 2 Michigan factories
Sat, Feb 29 2020DETROIT — General Motors is adding 1,200 jobs at two Michigan factories to build midsize SUVs and two new luxury sedans. GM said Friday that its Lansing Delta Township plant will get a third shift and 800 more workers to build the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave SUVs, which have three rows of seats. The Lansing Grand River plant will get a second shift and 400 more workers to build two new Cadillac sedans, the CT4 and CT5. Employees laid off at other GM factories will fill the new jobs first, then workers will be added, GM spokesman Dan Flores said. The company has not determined yet how many new people will be needed, he said. Both additional shifts will start working sometime between April and June, the company said. Lansing Delta Township now employs about 2,500 salaried and blue-collar workers, while the Grand River plant has 1,400. GM sold more than 147,000 Traverse SUVs in the U.S. last year, a 0.4% increase from 2018. Enclave sales were up 3% to just over 51,000, according to Autodata Corp. Related Video:
Cadillac Lyriq electric crossover reveal date announced
Thu, Jun 25 2020The Cadillac Lyriq will be the company's first fully electric car, and it was due to be shown back in April. Then the coronavirus pandemic happened and screwed everything up. But now we have a new reveal date for the Lyriq: August 6, 2020.  The date comes to us via a teaser video. It showcases a variety of high-tech Cadillac features over the decades from electric start to OLED instrument displays. But it also occasionally drops a shot of the Lyriq itself. One shot shows part of the grille, which is solid with many LED light strakes. We also see the door panel with beautiful wood trim and inlaid LED patterns. Autoblog Green editor John Snyder has already seen the Lyriq at GM's electric vehicle summit. He noted that it has 22-inch wheels, tall taillights, and a 34-inch instrument and infotainment display spanning the width of the dashboard.Â
