1977 Cadillac Seville Base Sedan 4-door 5.7l on 2040-cars
Palmdale, California, United States
Up for sale is my very clean and reliable 1977 Cadillac Seville. I've owned it for the last 3 years. One wasn't enough for me, instead I had to have 5 of them. After losing one in an undetermined storage facility fire that destroyed a number of units, I decided to bring the rest home. That worked out for a while, but I simply do not have the room to keep them all. The A/C on this car blows cold air at times. The car is a great driver and gets plenty of compliments where ever I take it. The transmission shifts as it should, the power seats, windows, etc. all works as they should. The tires on the car has less than a thousand miles on them. Since I've owned it I've also replaced the radiator, water pump, thermostat, all freeze plugs, upper and lower radiator hoses, hose clamps, fan clutch, coolant-with distilled water, replace all belts and flush out heater core, reseal entire transmission, install new filter and new trans fluid, replace engine oil pan gasket, install new spark plugs-new wires, new distributor cap, fuel pump and gasket, sway bar link bushings, replaced front brake pads and resurface rotors, replace inner grease seals, repack wheel bearings and install new air shocks. All receipts goes with the car. With the exception of the A/C issues mentioned above this car is ready to be driven anywhere. All the brightwork is shinny and the paint and vinyl top is in very good condition. There is no cracks in the dash.

2015 Cadillac Escalade
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Cadillac has been an interesting story in the auto industry over the past several years. Its comeback bid may be well over a decade old, but it's only recently that the Wreath and Crest has transformed from the auto industry's retirement home into its hot new thing. Today's Cadillac is a powerful marque working to instill passionate design, sound driving dynamics and cutting-edge technology into each model it builds, with vehicles like the ATS and redesigned CTS leading the charge.
Now, its latest model has arrived. This fourth-generation Escalade is among the most important new Cadillacs since the division's renaissance kicked into high gear. It's the brand's de facto flagship, and the first vehicle many young people think of when hearing the name "Cadillac." In the past, the Escalade was the chosen vehicle of the rich, flashy and famous. It's suffered over the past few years, though, particularly as new and more luxurious competitors have come to the fore.
With this latest redesign, General Motors is aiming to retake the spotlight as purveyors of the market's premier luxury SUV. To find out if it's been successful, I ventured down to the South Carolina Lowcountry to test the all-new 2015 Escalade.
Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation
Sat, 09 Aug 2014
The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
Cadillac LTS flagship to bow at NY Auto Show
Wed, 06 Aug 2014There is widespread agreement across the industry that Cadillac needs a proper, rear-drive flagship sedan that completes legitimately with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series.
Fortunately, the same view is held within the company, and just such a car - possibly dubbed LTS - is under development. According to a high-level source at Cadillac, the new four-door, which is said to incorporate design cues from the marque's celebrated Elmiraj coupe concept, will debut at the New York Auto Show next April.
If the car needs a cheerleader, surely incoming president Johan de Nysschen is just such a person. De Nysschen doesn't arrive at Cadillac until late in the month, but certainly he will want a proper flagship to do battle with his old foes at Mercedes-Benz and BMW and old friends at Audi and Infiniti.
