This is a nice clean car with very low mileage for its age. It sold for over $50,000 four years ago . . . buy it for a fraction of that cost today and get many more years of good service. The STS was one the top ranked luxury cars of 2010. It's comfortable, drives well, and returns decent fuel economy. This particular car is very nice looking. It's free of major dents dings or damage, and the interior looks like it's new. There is slight odor inside as the owner was a smoker. Cadillac snags de Nysschen from Infiniti, names him new president
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Johan de Nysschen, the (now former) president of Infiniti, has officially jumped ship. The 54-year-old, who also spent time as the chief executive for Audi USA, has taken the position of president at Cadillac, following a two-year stint at the Nissan-owned luxury brand. In his new role, the 54-year-old will be responsible "for all aspects of Cadillac globally," according to a statement from General Motors.
"Johan brings to our company vast experience in the development and proper execution of luxury automotive brands," said GM President Dan Ammann, de Nysschen's new boss. "With over 20 years in this exact space, especially in the development of the Audi brand, his track record proves he is the perfect executive to lead Cadillac for the long term."
"I have for some time now been impressed by how the new General Motors has been transformed into a formidable force in the industry," de Nysschen said in a statement. "The combination of strong corporate leadership and exceptional engineering resources presents the perfect combination to restore Cadillac to its place among global premium brands."
2015 Cadillac Escalade

Its comeback bid may be well over a decade old, but it's only recently that the Wreath and Crest has transformed from the auto industry's retirement home into its hot new thing. Now, its latest model has arrived. This fourth-generation Escalade is among the most important new Cadillacs since the division's renaissance kicked into high gear. It's suffered over the past few years, though, particularly as new and more luxurious competitors have come to the fore.

The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest.
