1995 Cadillac Fleetwood S&S Coach Custom Six Door Limousine. 89,000 miles on the odometer. LT1 350 engine, the same as used in the Chevrolet Corvette. The limo is in good condition for it's age. It runs out and shifts strong. I have owned it now for about three years. When I originally purchased the limo it had body damage to the trunk and right rear quarter panel from a tree branch falling on it. As you can see in the pictures, that body damage was repaired and the rear of the limo repainted. The only damage that remains from that incident is the dent in the left rear "C" pillar. (See photos) The limo needs a new A/C compressor. You can charge the system with R134A and it will blow cold. However it will not hold a charge for long. I did a green dye leak test and found green dye seeping out behind the A/C compressor pulley. So a new A/C compressor would solve this problem. The limo also needs new e-brake cables. The tires are around 50% +/-. Jump in and drive anywhere! I put 70 miles on it yesterday just cruising around. I have a lot of $$$ tied up in this limo. I have what I feel to be a very low reserve for a vehicle of this caliber. Less than half of what I have invested. Please bid to own. If you have the money to purchase, great, please bid! If you are dreaming, please continue to do just that. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours! $500 non refundable deposit required within 24 hours of auction close. Vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of auction close. Please ask questions! I will do my best to answer them all! Inspections welcome! Please contact me and make arrangements to come and inspect the limo before you bid. Thanks for looking!

Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Firmly on the comeback trail in the US, Cadillac is still trying to get out of the starting blocks in Europe. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.

Cadillac shows 2015 Escalade interior

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Following the reveal of the new GMC Yukon, Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, the next in line is Cadillac, which is set to unveil the new Escalade on October 7 in New York. And in the lead-up to the reveal, the company has released this third teaser image, giving us a good glimpse of the 'Slade's interior.
Or part of the interior, we should say, because while the image above clearly shows the new dashboard and center console, as well as parts of the front seats and interior door panels, the Escalade is most certainly not a two-seat coupe. The outgoing Escalade can accommodate up to eight in either standard or ESV form (but not in EXT pickup configuration), and the new model promises to deliver the same, and we're curious to see what Cadillac has in store for the rear passenger compartment.
Compared to its more accessible counterparts, the new Escalade clearly offers a more upscale environment than even the uplevel Yukon Denali, with softer-looking leather, richer wood veneer and a waterfall center infotainment console that's different from the more modular design in the Chevy and GMC. The steering wheel is also unique and the instrument cluster appears to meld more smoothly across the dashboard, but the door mirrors, wide center armrest, column shifter and A-pillar grab handle all look like they were carried over from the Escalade's platform mates.

Cadillac moving to NY as separate business unit

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Cadillac is under new leadership, and the automaker is committed to turning itself (back) into a global luxury powerhouse. It's got a strong product offensive (of products currently in showrooms, and much more on the way), and now it will have a new location to call home.
Following earlier speculation, GM has confirmed that it is moving Cadillac's base of operations from Detroit to New York. Lest you think it might rent offices in the Chrysler Building (which is, after all, one of the tallest in the city), the new Cadillac global headquarters will be located in the Soho area with a "multipurpose brand and event space in conjunction with modern loft offices." The company is still evaluating which staff will move along with it to Manhattan, and which will remain in Michigan where technical operations will still be based.
The move from Detroit to New York is the first major change being instituted by new Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen, who previously undertook a similar shift in moving Infiniti away from Nissan headquarters to its own facility in Hong Kong. Ford had attempted a similar move in relocating its luxury portfolio under the Premier Automotive Group (which then included Lincoln, Mercury, Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin and Volvo) from Dearborn to Irvine, CA, but ended up moving Lincoln (the last one still under the Ford umbrella) back to Michigan. Other luxury automakers like Audi (Volkswagen) and Maserati (Fiat) are headquartered away from their parent companies as well, but have a longer history of independent operation.
