Here is a very clean 1994 Its spent its entire life in the south so you do not have to worry about rust issues. We have used it here at our funeral home in Georgia for the past 7 years and it is mechanically sound and has been routinely serviced. Anyone that knows about vehicles knows that the Cadillac hearses built in the ninetys are the last of the rear wheel drive cars. Not to mention that they are the best driving and most reliable cars. They even get 20 plus miles to the gallon! This car has cold air and good tires and is ready to be put into service for removals or funerals. The mat in the rear does not go with the vehicle and the mileage could change a little due to it is currently in use.Fly in and l will pick you up at the airport in Augusta and you can drive this one to Seattle, Washington if need be.We are replacing it with a newer car and no longer need it. We will probably regret getting rid of it. The paint is in great condition. Interior is in very good condition for a car this age.The chrome on the bottom is not beat all up either. First Cadillac ELR rolls off the line
Thu, 30 May 2013Gearing up for the Belle Isle Grand Prix this weekend, General Motors invited some of the Chevrolet and Cadillac racecar drivers out to its Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant. While there, the racers - including IndyCar Driver and Chevrolet Volt owner, Simona De Silvestro - witnessed the very first 2014 Cadillac ELR to roll off the assembly line.
These vehicles are not destined for customers, however, but instead pre-production units will be used by engineers for testing purposes. Actual production of ELR consumer models is expected to commence closer to the end of this year. As a refresher, this range-extended electric Cadillac shares much of its powertrain with the Volt but will have a sportier coupe design inspired by the Converj Concept. Cadillac has pulled the wraps off of its newest family member, the long-rumored, Voltec-powered, eye-catching extended range hybrid coupe called the ELR. The car makes use of the same basic architecture as the Chevrolet Volt, but has been thoroughly layered on with design, technology and performance tuning - with the goal of being a properly situated product for the Cadillac brand.
J.D. Power study sees new car dependability problems increase for first time since 1998
Wed, 12 Feb 2014For the first time since 1998, J.D. Power and Associates says its data shows that the average number of problems per 100 cars has increased. The finding is the result of the firm's much-touted annual Vehicle Dependability Study, which charts incidents of problems in new vehicle purchases over three years from 41,000 respondents.
Looking at first-owner cars from the 2011 model year, the study found an average of 133 problems per 100 cars (PP100, for short), up 6 percent from 126 PP100 in last year's study, which covered 2010 model-year vehicles. Disturbingly, the bulk of the increase is being attributed to engine and transmission problems, with a 6 PP100 boost.
Interestingly, JDP notes that "the decline in quality is particularly acute for vehicles with four-cylinder engines, where problem levels increase by nearly 10 PP100." Its findings also noticed that large diesel engines also tended to be more problematic than most five- and six-cylinder engines.
