You are looking at a very nice Fleetwood in very good condition. This car must have been rarely used and garage kept, judging by it's general condition. The paint glistens, as you can see in the pictures. There is no rust on the body. The exterior of the car is nearly perfect with a straight body, nice chrome, vynil roof is perfect and good glass with no cracks. The leather interior presents well, nice dash and door panels, perfect headliner and everything works as it should. The engine is a strong running 4.5 Litre V/8 that runs well. The automatic transmission shifts properly. The steering and brakes are good and operate properly. All lights, guages, power windows, power locks, power seats, power trunk release and trunk pull-down, the radio and power antena operate as they should and the air conditioning blows ice cold and the heat works properly. This car is ready to drive and enjoy, today!
As you consider this car, please keep in mind that you are looking at a twenty three year old classic, not a new car by any means. I have to say that the car is not perfect, it does have imperfections, but in my opinion, the flaws are not significant. Please let me tell you that the front seat shows some age and minor imperfections that you probably can't see in the pictures and I can tell you that nobody has said anything to me about, but I want you to know. There is also some discoloration on the floormat and on the carpet under it on the passenger side in the front "see picture" it looks like someone may have spilled something that took the red color out. While the radio plays and the power antena works properly, the sound is not good, perhaps the speakers are just old. The tires have plenty of tread on them, however I think they are old and should be replaced.
I have tried to give you an accurate description of this car, however your opinion might be different than mine. Your personal inspection is always best and I welcome you to come see and drive the car, if you can. If you have any questions, or concerns, please ask, do not assume anything. You can call me at 201 954 3159, my name is Bill. This car is sold AS-IS with NO warranties expressed, or implied. The Reserve is fair, please bid to own this lovely Cadillac. I request a $200 nonrefundable deposit through PayPal at the end of the auction and balance within seven days. I prefer bank wire transfer, or cash in person. All international buyers MUST pay balance by a bank wire transfer, no exceptions.
Please bid with confidence. Please have all of your questions answered before you bid. Bid to own this car, the Reserve is realistic for the car of it's age and overall condition. Thank you for looking at and reading my listing. Have fun bidding!

What will the next Presidential limo look like?
Thu, 25 Jul 2013With recent news that the Secret Service has begun soliciting proposals for a new armored limousine, we've been wondering what the next presidential limo might look like. The current machine, nicknamed "The Beast", has a design based on a car that's no longer sold: the Cadillac DTS. If General Motors gets the job again, which wouldn't be a surprise considering the government still owns a chunk of the company, the next limo's shape would likely resemble the new XTS (below, left). But Cadillac hasn't always been the go-to car company for presidential whips.
Lincoln has actually provided far more presidential limousines throughout history than Cadillac. In fact, the first car modified for Commander-in-Chief-carrying duty was a 1939 Lincoln K-Series called "Sunshine Special" used by Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the last Lincoln used by a president was a 1989 Town Car ordered for George H.W. Bush. If President Obama wanted a Lincoln today, it would likely be an amalgam of the MKS sedan and MKT crossover, as illustrated above.
And what about Chrysler? The only record we could find of a President favoring the Pentastar is Nixon, who reportedly ordered two limos from the company during his administration in the '70s, and then another one, known today as the "K-Car limo," in the '80s after he left office. Obama, however, has a personal - if modest - connection to Chryslers, having owned a 300 himself before he took office. A 300-based Beast (above, right) would certainly earn the U.S. some style points.
Roll pins in recalled 2014-2015 Cadillac CTS V-Sports could crack
Mon, Feb 3 2020General Motors has issued a recall for select 2014-2015 Cadillac CTS V-Sport sedans due to roll pins in the rear differential that could crack. The recall only affects 2,866 vehicles, but it is expected that 100% of those vehicles have the defective parts. According to NHTSA Campaign No. 20V038000, 2014-2015 CTS V-Sports built between July 1, 2013 and May 15, 2015 have roll pins in the rear-axle differential that could "fatigue" and "fracture." If these pins were to break while the vehicle is in motion, it could cause the rear to lock up, which might create a potentially dangerous driving situation. In September 2019, a GM engineer noticed a forum discussion about the problem with the V-Sports, which can be easily identified by their twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engines. Because he had dealt with similar issues with his own personal vehicle, he submitted a report, and an investigation was opened the next month. To make good with its customers, GM has promised to replace the rear differentials on all affected vehicles. The recall report says the roll pins in the replacement parts will have "increased strength" and a double-shear design rather than the original single-shear design. GM plans to send customers recall identification notices starting March 9, 2020.
GM, UAW poaching Nissan workers in Tennessee
Tue, Sep 8 2015General Motors and the United Auto Workers are going on a recruitment drive at the Spring Hill factory in Tennessee, and they're hoping to poach some skilled workers from Nissan's nearby plant in Smyrna, TN. The General and the union even bought a billboard advertising for industrial electricians near the Japanese automaker's facility, according to the Daily News Journal. The reason for the billboard was simple. "GM was short of electricians," said Tim Stannard, the president of the UAW local at Spring Hill, to the Daily News Journal. The factory currently builds the Chevrolet Equinox but has a contract to assemble the next generation of Ecotec engines and the Cadillac XT5, which replaces the SRX. Thanks to the $185-million deal, employment there is expected to double by May 2016, according to Stannard, with roughly 1,800 additional union jobs. Beyond just several billboards, GM has job postings online for the Spring Hill plant looking for workers with specific skills. There has already been some interest in the positions among Nissan employees, Stannard indicated. According to a recent study by the Center for Automotive Research, the average GM worker currently makes $58 an hour, including benefits. Comparatively, Nissan pays an average of $42 an hour with benefits. The General's number could change in the coming weeks because its contract with the UAW is about to expire, and higher wages are among the major negotiating points.
