This immaculate 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood only has 43k one owner miles.

The Coupe made up just over 10% of the RWD Fleetwood production for 1985. This body began production in 1980 to appease the loyal Cadillac owners that were disgruntled over the 79 Eldorado Biarritz being drastically down sized. This full sized coupe with all it's trimmings filled the "personal luxury" spot well and production ran through midyear of 1985. Very few of these were saved and finding a good one often takes years to find. On any given day you can find a nice low mile Eldorado of this generation but the low mile Fleetwood Coupes are very scarce and have become very sought after. The demand for this body amongst collectors have more than doubled in the last 5 years as many Cadillac aficionados are snapping up the best examples for their collections. 1985 was the very last year for this incredible body style and from a design standpoint was GM at it's finest hour. These Brougham Coupes were the last of a classic style era which will never be produced again.

I have had the privilege of owning several of these Brougham Coupes in my 20+ years of Cadillac collecting, and this particular example is hands down the best of them all. This Fleetwood has always been collector owned and garage kept. With only 43k miles, this Cadillac needs no excuses and stands well to be a very lucrative long term investment. The best resale colors for these are white, red, blue and black. As far as color combos, triple white and triple black lead the pack in resale value. The car detailer I use is one of an elite group called upon to prep very high dollar pedigrees for Pebble Beach. Aside from myself, he is the only one I will let touch my cars and he just completed an extensive detail on this Cadillac. You could put this Fleetwood directly into a car show today.

This is by far the tightest, smoothest driving Brougham Coupe I have ever owned. This is one of those "steer with one finger" cars, tracking straight with very smooth braking.

This Cadillac spins heads and gets many a thumbs up.

The bumper rub strips are like new with no scrapes.

All lenses are as new, crystal clear and free of cracks

This Fleetwood Coupe was ordered with a generous list of options, with a sticker price of almost $27k whereas a base Fleetwood stickered for $21,219. Some of these options include; Leather Seating Area($680), Twilight Sentinel($85), Passenger seat recliner w/six-way power seat($380), Electric Remote-control Outside Mirrors($101), Symphony Sound AM/FM Cassette with CB($570), Illuminated Vanity Mirrors Driver and Passenger($140), Illuminated Entry System($80), Rear Window Defogger including Heated Outside Mirrors($220), and the list goes on.

GM's highest paint process and quality control went into the Corvettes and the Cadillac division.

There has been no parking by braille done with this Cadillac. Wire wheel covers are free of curb rash.

Aside from the filler panels which where recently replaced and re painted with a perfect color match, this car has factory paint all the way around and is very glossy. No fading anywhere on this car. No dings in the fender well trim.

Again, beautiful chrome with no rubs on the bumper rub strips. Tail light lenses are clear and as new.

Vinyl Landau top is as new.

Chrome rocker panels are like the rest of the car,,,gorgeous.

Cadillac may not build Elmiraj coupe

Despite the fact that most everyone who has laid eyes on the Cadillac Elmiraj concept coupe loves it, General Motors insiders are still trying to prove the business case to build the car. And it's certainly not a guarantee.
"I want to see this car go into production badly. Very badly," Ed Welburn, GM's Global Head of Design, told Autoblog. But the Cadillac design studio is busier than it's ever been before, and the company is working on prioritizing which cars deserve to get the billion-dollar price tag needed to research and develop a new model.

What to see at the Detroit Auto Show 2023

The 2023 North American Auto Show — also known as the Detroit Auto Show Â— is underway downtown. If you want to attend the public days of the show taking place September 16-24, hereÂ’s what you need to know about attending. But now that Autoblog has done our reconnaissance during the showÂ’s press days, we can tell you about the actual cars (and other things) you can see and experience. WhatÂ’s new? Ford The big new item from Ford is the 2024 F-150 pickup. You can check out the new trick tailgate, and see what the fuss is all about. The 2024 F-150 Raptor also debuted at the show, if you like high-power, off-roady full-size pickups. The show will also be a good opportunity to see the Mustang Dark Horse and Mustang Mach-E Rally up close and personal. Unfortunately, we only saw the wild 2025 Mustang GTD at an offsite event during press days, but it's quite possible Ford will roll it out for the public. Cadillac Cadillac revealed its refreshed 2025 CT5 at the Detroit show, and you can get a look at the revised front and the new tech-focused interior. Cadillac recently unveiled the all-electric 2025 Escalade IQ, so you can stop and see the most powerful Escalade ever while youÂ’re there. It wasnÂ’t on the floor during media days, but Cadillac told us theyÂ’d bring it for the public part of the show. Jeep Jeep unveiled its 2024 Gladiator at the show, and you can check out the new interior and trim levels in person at the Jeep stand. Jeep also has an indoor track set up for ride-alongs. If you havenÂ’t had the chance to see the refreshed 2024 Wrangler yet, you can see that, too, along with examples from the rest of the Jeep lineup, along with its Stellantis sibling, Ram. GMC GMC showed off the new, larger 2024 Acadia SUV for the Detroit Auto Show. ItÂ’s bigger than before, but does more to differentiate itself from its Chevy cousin, the Traverse. GMC also has its Sierra EV on display if youÂ’re interested in catching that in person. What else to see A number of automakers have large displays at the show with many of their models represented. In addition to those who debuted something new at the show, Buick, Chevrolet (check out the Silverado, Blazer and Equinox EVs, as well as the Corvette E-Ray), Lincoln with the new Nautilus, Toyota (get a look at the new Tacoma), Volkswagen, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Mini, Volkswagen, Honda, Chrysler (the Airflow concept is there), Fiat, Ram and Dodge (see the Charger Daytona SRT concept) all have a sizable presence.

The wait is nearly over to see the new Cadillac XT4. The company announced that the new luxury crossover SUV will make its debut at the New York Auto Show and hit dealers in the fall. Before all that, though, we're getting a sneak peek in the above commercial for the new Caddy, which will also air during the Academy Awards. The ad doesn't show us many surprises. It has the same clean and slightly creased lines of most of the rest of the Cadillac lineup. The shape of the grille is very clearly inspired by the Escala. We do get a nice look at the tall D-pillar hugging taillights, which really give the Cadillac a stand-out appearance. When the Cadillac is revealed, we're expecting it to have turbocharged four-cylinder power under the hood powering either the front or all four wheels. This is because it's going to be built off of the Chevy Malibu platform. It will also usher in new interior design language featuring an electronic, likely monostable shifter and a cadre of physical buttons rather than a bank of touch-sensitive ones.
