This is my wifes Cadillac she has driven last couple years 30 miles to work and back. It is just sitting in my garage and I need the room so if you want a really comfortable ride this is for you! It is loaded, A.W.D. leather, Boese stereo with 6 disc changer, adj. foot pedals, rear entertainment, elec. locks, windows, mirrors, heated seats, trac. control, backup assist, etc. etc. It is ready to go and enjoy the road! The body moldings have a couple small door chips or dings in them as seen in pics (Thanks Walmart), but body is nice paint is nice and interior is in good condition. Also it does have 3rd row bucket seats, just stored in my house, but of course are included. I just put on brand new tires in December, probably around 2,000 miles on them. That will save you $$$$. SRX-replacing Cadillac XT5 spied for the very first time
Thu, 30 Oct 2014Cadillac has got big plans in place to revitalize its lineup, with new sedans, coupes and crossovers. And it all starts with this, the replacement for the SRX.
Expected to be called XT5 in line with the brand's new naming scheme, the crossover will be based on a scalable new platform called C1XX - or Chi, for short. In its shorter form, Chi is anticipated to underpin the XT5 as well as a new Chevy crossover and the next-gen GMC Acadia. In long-wheelbase form, the platform is slated to give us a larger Cadillac crossover as well as a new Buick Enclave and Chevy Traverse.
Power in the XT5 will be provided by a choice of turbo four or atmospheric six, potentially to be transmitted through GM's new nine-speed automatic.
Cadillac to recall 20,000 SRX models over wheels that could fall off
Thu, 23 May 2013A potential issue with the lug nuts on 19,871 units of the 2013 Cadillac SRX in the US and Canada has lead to a recall of the luxury crossover. Those lug nuts that have a Teflon topcoat, identified by their bluish tint, could loosen and cause "creaking, rattling or grinding noises or steering vibrations." In the worst case scenario, a wheel could fall off, but there have been no reports of that happening, nor any reports of accidents or injuries due to the issue.
This is the second recall action on the SRX over the last few months. In March, Cadillac recalled 27,000 SRX models over a transmission programming issue. General Motors will begin notifying customers with the potentially faulty parts on June 3, at which time they can take their vehicles to dealers to have the tires rotated and new nuts installed. A further 7,397 SRXs exported from North America also face the recall action.
