All original and close to perfect condition, this top end Eldorado from 1996 was bought off the showroom floor in southern MD. I have every document from original purchase, special orders, and service since new! I even have a photo of the car as it sat in the Cadillac dealer's showroom. Because it was a showroom edition, it was decked out with about everything you could buy for an Eldorado that year including the Vogue wheels and Michelin tires, the Continental package, the Gold Package, and special ordered from Cadillac a supple tobacco colored leather interior. Short of seeing one in a museum, I cannot imagine finding a nicer example of this year of Eldorado than this one. It was always garaged, was a southern MD car, and belonged to one family since new (originally leased then purchased after lease). I purchased it from the brother of the original owner after his death. If you appreciate the last of the big two door coupes from Cadillac you'll love this vehicle. It deserves a new owner who will continue to enjoy it and care for it. It's been through our shop. Everything works as it should, even the AC, and it drives and handles like an absolute dream! Its the definition of "Creampuff" in my business.
*Upon request, I added three photos, one of engine compartment, one of truck showing CD changer, and the last of the large folder kept by the original owners showing all the service history and paperwork going back to its purchase new. Im guessing the reason the history check ebay uses shows more titles issued is that a new one was issued when the original owner purchased it off lease, then when he passed away, a new one was ordered for his brother who inherited it. The car belonged to one family until I purchased it, and the documents attest to that.
Call if you have any questions at 302 448 6009.

Cadillac's new ad campaign to tell you how to get lucky
Thu, 05 Sep 2013Cadillac is set to launch a new ad campaign this fall, as it attempts to maintain the momentum established by new models like the ATS. The campaign comes from an agency called Rogue, and according to AdAge, will lean on American values. It's called, "Work Hard. Be Lucky."
The campaign is fairly self-explanatory, just from the tagline. It's meant to make a Cadillac seem more attainable to the average, aspirational buyer. It does kind of pander to that American idea that everyone's hard work gets rewarded, but as ad campaigns go, that's not a bad thing.
Somehow, it doesn't roll off the tongue quite like "The Standard of the World." As AdAge points out, Cadillac's advertising over the years has lacked a real coherent theme, although we'll admit to enjoying the most recent campaigns, particularly the around-the-world jaunts with the ATS. It's unclear if the "Work Hard. Be Lucky." theme will evolve into an actual tagline for the brand, with Caddy spokesman Dave Caldwell telling the advertising mag, "It could very easily end up being a line of copy along with other lines; we don't really know yet. It's an open question as to how dramatically it will be featured."
Cadillac considering more electric cars, Elmiraj business case gaining popularity
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Cadillac's electrification isn't likely to stop at the $76,000 ELR coupe, according a report from TheDetroitBureau.com. Speaking to Cadillac's global sales boss, Bob Ferguson, a successful ELR will likely lead to a larger, even more upscale offering than the Volt-based two-door. "I could certainly see a larger vehicle, something even more luxurious," Ferguson said of a potential second, battery-powered Caddy.
That car would likely boast a more potent version of the Voltec powertrain that motivates the Volt and ELR. This next-generation system is still sometime off, though, and won't likely arrive until the second-generation Volt hits the market.
Besides hinting at future plug-in hybrids, Ferguson spoke to TDB about the improving business case for the Elmiraj Concept, shown at the Pebble Beach Concours in Monterey in August. "I'm very excited about the reception for the Elmiraj," Ferguson said. "I'd like to see it in showrooms as soon as possible," he added, before saying that a business case for the production version of the big coupe still needed to be presented to the brass. "It was made to be operationalized," Ferguson added, which is just what we want to hear when it comes to big, flashy concept cars.
2015 Cadillac ATS-V gunning for the BMW M3
Mon, 03 Jun 2013Spy photographers have spotted something interesting. Cadillac engineers have taken to public streets with the upcoming ATS-V and a playmate: the current BMW M3 Sedan. The prototype seen here wears a more aggressive front fascia, flared fenders and beefy brakes. Quad exhaust tips and what looks to be a small lip spoiler on the trunk deck sum up the most obvious visual changes over the standard ATS outside. Word has it the ATS-V will bow with the same twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 available in the nose of the XTS. In that application, the engine is good for a stout 410 horsepower, which should be more than enough to hustle the sedan around a track.
Other details are still murky, however. First and foremost: will GM offer the ATS-V with an honest manual transmission, like it does with its big brother, the CTS-V? Something tells us we won't have long to wait to find out - the machine will likely bow next year as a 2015 model. Until then, dig in on our newest bevy of spy photos.
