1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible Mint One Owner Low Miles Clean! Look on 2040-cars
Lutz, Florida, United States
|
This 1984 Cadillac Biarritz convertible is one of the cleanest examples on the road and for sale at this time. It is a one owner original example of the finest trim GM had to offer in the mid 1980s. There were only 3,300 or so of these cars produced. Many experts say that these low production Biarritz are among the most sound investments as far as 1980's General Motors vehicles are concerned.
It wears its original paint that shines well with only two small blemishes on the hood (pictured). The "Autumn Maple Firemist" Red is hands down the best color available and was a premium color which cost extra when ordered new. I would easily give this paint and body a 9 out if 10. There is ZERO rust on the body of this car anywhere. It has spent it's entire life inside a garage. It is amazing that 34 year old paint can shine so well. The white and red interior looks great and gets a solid 8 out of 10. The arctic white leather shows great and is the nicest original Biarritz interior I have seen. The only noticeable flaws are two very small cracks by the defrost vents, two digits are out on the radio display (still functions correctly) and the front seats and door driver door panel have had previous repair (see pictures). That said, it is still the best looking '84 Eldorado I have seen to date. The red high pile carpet looks good and is stain free. The original white convertible top functions correctly and looks good, but upon close inspection you can tell that it is a 34 year old top. The electric top motor works as it should and with the touch of a button, all four windows roll down with the top. The glass rear window and the rest of the glass on the car is clean, clear and crack free as well. The motor is original and runs well. The car has 34k miles and for a 34 year old car drives fantastic. The A/C and heat function as they should as well as the brakes and power steering. There is a small oil and transmission leak when the car sits. When driven semi regularly, it does not seem to leak. The tires have plenty of tread and no dry rot but they do have flat spots from sitting in the same place for periods of time. This car is for sale by the estate of the original owner and is sold with a clean clear Florida title. I have driven this Cadillac on many occasions and I can honestly say they it makes you feel like a king behind the wheel. The car can be viewed by appointment, and I encourage it. Shipping costs are the buyers responsibility, but I will be happy to help assist in arranging shipping. I have both bought and sold many vehicles on eBay and I know the drill. A $1000.00 deposit is due via paypal within 24 hours of auction close and the balance is due within 72 hours. Please do not bid if you do not understand how eBay works or if you do not have the means to complete the transaction. Please send questions through eBay or call me at (813)299-8275 with any questions. The car is listed for sale locally and this auction may end early if sold locally. |

2016 Cadillac CTS-V to hit dealers this summer, start at $83,995*
Wed, Apr 29 2015Cadillac has announced pricing for the 640-horsepower CTS-V, and not only will the new super-sedan outgun its heartiest German rivals, it'll undercut them on price, too. Kicking off at $83,995 (not including a $995 destination charge), the CTS-V is nearly $10,000 less than the 560-hp BMW M5, almost $18,000 less than the 577-hp Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S 4Matic, and is nearly $25,000 less than the 560-hp Audi RS7. So in case you were wondering, yes, the CTS-V will continue to be one of the auto industry's very best high-performance bargains in its third generation. "V-Series represents the pinnacle of Cadillac, a brand that now makes drivers' cars at the highest level," Cadillac's head honcho Johan de Nysschen said in a statement. "The new CTS-V is essentially two cars in one: a luxury sedan with sophisticated road manners and a track-capable sports car with awe-inspiring performance. This type of car is exclusive, the domain of the few who can access this level of incredible capability. V-Series matches or overtakes the finest cars in this elite class, while being more accessible." As for when you can get your hands on bargain-priced beast, dealers are now accepting orders, with deliveries slated to begin late this summer. Scroll on down for the official release from Cadillac. Next-Generation 640-hp Cadillac CTS-V Launches This Summer U.S. DEALERS BEGIN ACCEPTING ORDERS NOW FOR CADILLAC'S UPCOMING PERFORMANCE ICON DETROIT – Cadillac announced today that U.S. dealers will begin accepting orders for the next-generation 2016 CTS-V, the all-new high-performance sedan that launches in late summer. The 640-hp CTS-V is the second of two all-new V-Series models to come to market in 2015, following the smaller ATS-V coupe and sedan, which launches in late spring. Cadillac's new 2016 V-Series models represent a significant expansion of the brand's elite, high-performance line. Not only are the new V-Series cars elevated in terms of performance, they now reach a broader spectrum of drivers by presenting two distinct personalities, size categories and price points. With a top speed of 200 mph and 0-60 performance in 3.7 seconds, the CTS-V is the most powerful car in Cadillac's 112-year history. The 2016 CTS-V is priced from $83,995. Customers can place orders now with dealers and view additional product information at Cadillac.com. The CTS-V elevates into the elite group of the world's highest-performing sedans.
De Nysschen says Cadillac will be ready for a $250,000 model in 15 years
Fri, Nov 21 2014Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen has some very, very lofty goals for the American luxury car manufacturer. That's according to a new report from Reuters, where the former Audi and Infiniti exec says that Cadillac is only 15 years away from selling a $250,000 car. "It is too early today for a $250,000 Cadillac," de Nysschen told Reuters at the LA Auto Show. "Fifteen years from now, it won't be." Now, provided de Nysschen doesn't envision a future of hyper-inflation, where an ATS rings up at $200K and a CTS at $225,000, the idea that Cadillac could sell a car worth a quarter-of-a-million dollars in just 15 short years is the very definition of ambitious. That's doubly true when you realize that, at present, Cadillac's most expensive vehicle is the Escalade ESV Platinum, which costs no more than $97,940, while de Nysschen said the upcoming CT6 sedan will be priced "in the 70s." What do you think? Could a Cadillac that costs well over twice as much as the brand's most expensive current vehicle be a reality in the distant future? Or is de Nysschen aiming too high too soon? Cadillac reveals stretched ATS-L in China
Tue, 29 Jul 2014In the market for a new Cadillac, but need more space than an ATS can afford? Then you'll want to look at the larger CTS. Unless you live in China, where buyers - often chauffeured instead of driving themselves - seem to prefer a long-wheelbase version of a smaller sedan than upgrading to a larger one. For those buyers, Cadillac has released the new ATS-L.
Based on the existing ATS sports sedan, the ATS-L offers an extra 3.3 inches of rear legroom over the model we get here. As a result, the ATS-L stretches its wheelbase to 112.5 inches and its overall length to 186 inches, while riding a quarter-inch lower than the standard-wheelbase model, which itself was recently updated. That places its length in between the regular ATS and the CTS available Stateside.
Otherwise it's essentially the same sedan, but appears to ditch the base 2.0-liter four to offer either the 2.0-liter turbo four or 3.6-liter V6. Of course this model, produced locally for the Chinese market, isn't likely to make the transpacific voyage to US showrooms, so American buyers will still have to choose between the standard ATS, the larger CTS or the even larger XTS.
