1975 Cadillac Eldorado, firethorn red with white leather interior, white top has been replaced a year ago, original white leather with 50/50seat in very nice condition... no rips or tears, dash in nice shape... no cracks, all original factory black carpet in nice condition...no fading or wear, drivers door panel has a hairline crack on lower part of panel, I have an extra set of the top half of the door panels to go with the car... they would need to be sprayed with white vinyl spray, no cracks in the steering wheel, gauges all work...air does not blow cold but everything is hooked up, might just need to be recharged. Windshield perfect, side glass good, all windows go up and down they way they should, rear window has rear window defroster...glass is clear, 4 brand new 721 Firestone white wall tires. The car needs to be touched up or painted, new fiberglass fender extension panels needs painted, has some light surface rust or small scabs on the hood, and below the pinch rail and the trunk and a small dent in the hood (not bad). Chrome bumpers are in nice shape, nice original hub caps, some flake on the frame but nothing major( holes). Exhaust is good, car runs and drives good, brakes are newer, floors are solid. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions before bidding. The odometer reads 58,238 and Ohio title reads 57,098 but title is stamped non-actual: Warning odometer discrepnancy. I do not know what the discrepancy is. I am offering this car at a low reserve. Cadillac considering more engines, Vsport model for Escalade
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Want to roll in the latest Cadillac Escalade? You can get it with a 6.2-liter V8... or a 6.2-liter V8. Cadillac only offers the one engine option. But that may soon change.
According to the latest from Automotive News, Cadillac is contemplating a couple of new powertrain options for its blingin' big ute. The report suggests a twin-turbo V6 and a V6 turbodiesel could be offered, and that Cadillac could create a Vsport version of the Escalade like it offers on the new CTS sedan.
The more diverse engine offerings would help attract buyers from the new Lincoln Navigator, its prime competitor, which switched from a 5.4-liter V8 this year to a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. The turbo V6 engines (both gasoline and diesel) would also help Cadillac market the Escalade overseas - particularly in Europe, where higher fuel prices preclude the prospect of driving a big V8 SUV for many buyers. Escalade sales have dropped from 35-40k units in the mid-2000s to around 12,000 the past couple of years.

Cadillac reveals more 2015 Escalade details, launches colorizer
Mon, 30 Dec 2013Cadillac has opened up a mini-site to entice you into its all-new 2015 Escalade, and begun talking about more of its features and trim levels. While all versions of the new daddy Caddy will be powered by a 6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque routed through a six-speed automatic, there will be three trim packages you can wrap around that powertrain and seven exterior colors available to make it pop.
Features common to all trims include leather throughout, heated and cooled front seats, a 12-inch reconfigurable dash cluster, a quieter interior thanks to Bose active noise cancellation and the brand's love/hate CUE infotainment system. The base trim comes with adaptive remote start, hands-free tailgate, rear-view camera, park assist, Magnetic Ride Control and sits on 20-inch wheels. Moving up to the Luxury spec increases your stature with 22-inch wheels and adds a reconfigurable, color head-up display, a sunroof, power fold-and-tumble second row seating, Intellibeam headlights and a Driver Awareness Package with active crash-avoidance technology like Safety Alert Seat, lane departure warning and forward collision alert.
The top Premium trim gets a Driver Assist Package that includes Automatic Collision Preparation, automatic braking and adaptive cruise control, rear-seat entertainment, along with exterior touches like illuminated door handles.
